Hathaway, the big busted teacher for Magical Species Class, was sitting in her chair by her desk, feet up and music going on. Teaching was fun but she doubted anybody would appear to her class, most considered it redundant and old fashioned (or maybe they meant her teaching method, she was a little fuzzy on the details) and so rarely chose to attend, despite its importance...

Larita ran to the class, buzzling with energy. "Ah, learning about monsters, so intruiging!!" She smiles happily as Rin quickly follows behind her.

"Master, why aren't you ever interested in learning about me?" Rin sarcastically states, adding a small sad effect to her voice. Acting of course.

"I do so!" Larita replies with a spin. "We're one of the first ones in class," She also adds, as if it was an accomplishment.

I get inside the class with tridus.
"waddya think?"

I had almost no curiosity about the species of animals here,but back in azard our warrior tribe was divided into co-op squads,usually consisting of animal partners with immeasurable strengths.This world hadn't let me down as yet.Thinking so I grabbed the last few benches and waited for the class to start.

William entered the class early and ripe. "So Hathaway's the teacher," He mumbles to himself with a nonchalant grin. "Hello Ms.Hathaway," He greets as he says and then takes a seat next to Rachael.

Nina waltzed in class, taking and odd poise and using the proper ploys she gained the attention or numerous guys in the class. It seems her rude, abbrasive, loud and eccentric side is currently in place. "So what are we doing for class?" Nina asks, shaking her hips as she sat down.

Hathaway had been a little surprised at the number of students actually attending her class (granted, she hadn't actually started class yet but still)
"Oh my... Are all of you taking Magical Species?" Hathaway asked before greeting Will and asking if he had seen Rie lately.

Ashraeh sat quiet in her seat, thinking of whatever species she might learn about.

Kairu, however, was busy talking with the various girls of the class.

Suddenly, someone unfamiliar walked through the door frame. He had short white hair, peach skin, wore a large, red collar with blue pants and a brown shirt, with a white cape and at first glance, he looked almost human. However, he had perky animal ears, and and a sleek dog tail. He sat down in the seat next to Ashraeh, much to her embarrassment.

"Is this the Magical Species 101 class?" He asked her in a calm voice, as if it were pure satin.

"Y-yes. This is!" Ashraeh quickly gasped. She turned her head back to the board as quickly as she had responded to his question.

"Oh! Please excuse me, my name is Gabriel."

"M-my name is Ashraeh. It's nice to meet you."

Kairu glanced out of the corner of his eye at his soon-to-be close friend and noticed some unwelcome intruder. He grunted, trusting that Ashraeh will wash her hands of the interloper.

Hathaway stood up and walked up to her black-board (yes, she's got a black-board).
"Greetings my students and welcome to Magical Species. My name is Hathaway Bukater" Hathaway said, writing her name on the black-board.
"You will probably find my methods of teaching strange, perhaps even impossibly unorthodox. Some of you might even decide to leave this class in protest of the animals, monsters and the like that will be covered in this. Make no mistake, I know what you are probably thinking about right now: 'Oh I can't wait until we learn how to beat dragons' or the like. But you won't be learning anything substantially dangerous for a long while, other than how to out-run and avoid certain monsters and animals. Stupidity and arrogance are the chief dangers of any wizard. Now, you should each find a copy of the book titled: 'Magical Fauna' written by yours truly. I want you each to find an animal or monster of your own liking." Hathaway said with gentle force and authority.

Ashraeh pulled out a copy of the book, and flipped through the pages to find a suitable creature. Her eyes were deft in their searching, only wasting a few seconds on the pages. But as she flipped, she passed over something familiar, and went back to see a monstrous lizardman.

'They don't look that menacing!' Ashraeh thought about her mission to escort the lizardmen pair to the school. 'I think this book has grossly exaggerated them.' She decided.

Kairu, however, was still talking to the girls, periodically eying Gabriel to see if he were biting off more than he could chew.

Gabriel, on the other hand, was flipping through the book to find a animal that seemed interesting. He stopped at an animal that resembled a blue and yellow humanoid, called a 'Chao'.

"Aw, it's so cute!~" A girl had said while looking over his shoulder. The girls around Kairu had heard this and rushed over to see the commotion. A chorus of squeals, coos, and ahhs were heard as they all pushed to see the adorable creature.

"H-help!" Gabriel cried out, as they had all dog-piled onto his desk to see the book. Kairu growled, his tolerance quickly draining! He was stealing his friends, and stole his groupies! Something must be done.

William sat down, flicking through a few pages in the monster book, Rachael peering next to him. He noticed there were so many dangerous; yet exciting monsters that would offer a great challenge. "This looks interesting..." He mumbles to himself, noticing Selki, gargoyles and other similar ones he's fought before. Noticeably goblins as there were numerous species of goblins.

Nina outrageously flipped through the pick, roughly. As she stammers angrily; wanting a battle, not allowing her quiet side to take control for the time being. As she was in her daze of anger, she accidentally ripped a page, she was shocked. Quickly swapping it with another students book, secretly, she allows her quiet side to take over.

Rose flips through the pages, examining each monster/animal thoroughly. "So cool!" She squeals in joy, zombies, ghosts, ghouls, harpies, so many different, yet morbid creatures with completely contrasting features, powers and abilities. It was rather amazing that the magic world held so many different creatures...

Aliidan came crashing through the door rather loudly and violently, tripping over a bunch of books, turning over a bookshelf and finally smacking head first into Rose's desk.
"Aiyah! That hurt " Aliidan said, nursing a bump on her head.

Umi: Sorry, i woke up late today, so what did i miss??

Hathaway stared at the mess that Aliidan had made during her tumbling through the classroom, most of her precious books were lying in a heap, her mahogany bookshelf turned over... Hands trembling Hathaway put a hand to her lips, dropping her chalk.
"How? How can one person make such a mess?" Hathaway spoke to none in particular.

Gabriel hurried to help put the books away. Kairu took notice. 'He's trying to show me up! No way!!' Kairu ran over to the scattered books and began putting them up at a faster pace.

'That's really nice of him to help.' Gabriel said, not seeing the true motive behind Kairu's action.

William had sat down and continued to flip through the pages. After finding an intriguing monster, he began studying its weaknesses, its strengths and its overall ability. The monster took the form of a large, ice golem, that is actually quite heat resistant. It was dubbed the name, "Niflheim". It usually isolates itself in snowy, mountain areas to avoid contact with other monsters/humans.

Aliidan scrambled to her feet, seating herself at a desk, still holding her head in pain.
"Aiyah... My poor hurting head." Aliidan said with a pout, flipping open a copy of the text book. Suddenly perking up as if remembering something she leaned over towards Rose.
"Oh yeah, Rose, I was talking with that girl from the forest, the one with white hair, you remember? Anyway, it seems that she has this lung disease called tuber-something... Seems pretty serious..." Aliidan whispered to Rose quietly.

Rose looked in shock at what Aliidan had said, "Tuberculous!?" She asks, extremely shocked, "That's a very fatal, dangerous disease, that's horrible, does she need aid?!" Rose quickly inquires, grabbing the attention of numerous, surrounding students.

Ashraeh looked at Kairu's face, and could tell something was wrong. She walked over to where he was scrambling to pick up the books to outdo Gabriel.

"Kairu, is there something wrong? Are you mad at Gabriel?" She asked. Kairu blushed, for being so easily read.

"N-no!" He stuttered. "What makes you think that?" He snapped.

"Oh, n-nothing." She got up to leave. "Oh! Also, Gabriel will be staying in the same dorm as us." Kairu's face turned red with fury! He ran to the restroom so that no one could hear his despairing shriek.

Hathaway paused in her collecting of books and stared after the retreating student with a grimace. "Where's he going? Class isn't over yet!" Hathaway called after the student to no avail. Suddenly remembering one of the latecomers she turned and smiled brightly to him.
"Well Umibouzu, you haven't really missed that much yet, aside from my introduction. Now, go find a seat and a copy of the textbook and find an animal or monster of your choosing." Hathaway explained as she put the last of the books away.

Rose, though still shocked at the news, had picked a monster of her liking. Studying it fast, she easily memorized it's attack patterns, weaknesses and such.

Larita flipped through her book, "How interesting!" She sparked with interest. "A monster with many elemental variations, which one should I choose...?" She asks, trying to look for the weakest one possible.

"You should choose this one - it's the easiest, I'd know." Rin quietly advices her.

Allidan had, at Rose's sudden and shocked outburst, fallen out of her seat, her eyes forming small swirls. "Aiyaaah..." Aliidan whimpered lightly from her place on the floor.

Nina had chosen her specified monster as well and raises her hand quietly, obviously returned to her other, meek, timid side. "W-w-when will we be fighting some monsters...?" She shyly asks.
