Sai looked out as Larita picked herself up. "This is just getting weird, lets go" he moved on quicker, even if this place was now more odd then it had been before..

"Yeah, I agree..." Larita nods, as Rin takes flight, checking out the surrounding area. She quickly makes herself back.

"Everything's fine from a birds eye-view..." Rin suspiciously states, landing gracefully on Larita's shoulder. Allowing Sai to lead the way, she quickly staggers behind.

Hebi continued to trot along quietly, growing a little tired in her jaws due to carrying the kitten for so long. 'Ah, this little bugger is heavy...' Hebi thought to herself.

Sai quickened the pace, his sword still wasn't fully regenerated yet so they were a little lacking in the offensive parts of fighting.. And it looked like Hebi was getting a little tired of carrying the tiger.

Larita followed Sai, not sure on what was going to happen. She looked at Hebi, noticing she's tired. Her magic might be able to lift her spirit and slightly heal her, but Larita was unsure if it'd work on fatigue. The shifting scenery, it was obvious they're on the correct part through the trail, but the surrounding objects all looked morphed... or moved.

Hebi trotted along, still carrying the tiger. Hebi did not notice anything out of place, to her everything looked normal. And thusly she continued onwards, her tail swishing back and forth with every step she took.

Sai shook off the uneasy feeling he got from the objects that had moved their position, just making sure he didn't run anything on their way out, hopefully they'd be back somewhere safe soon.. "Almost there" he would say, to reassure the others.

Hebi looked oddly at her two companions, was it her or were they behaving strangely?
Hebi stopped to bring attention to herself, it was time to ask her companions what in the world was going on with them and why they had walked past the same tree four times in a row now...

Larita nods at Sai and smiles, "Yeah," she says knowing he's right. They're almost finished! The oddness of the forest couldn't nearly be as dangerous as the previous monsters. At least, so she thought. Hearing Hebi's telepathic message, she panics, having thoughts of them being lost, she wasn't certain before, but she did notice the same tree being passed.

"We're... going in circles!?" Larita asks, turning around only to see nothing odd. 'What's going on?' She thinks to herself.

Hebi had by now grown pretty tired from carrying the tiger so she sat down to get some rest.
'Explain to me why you've been going in circles for the last halfhour, I thought you guys KNEW where you were going nyuuu' Hebi thought through the link, still not releasing the tiger for fear of having it bolt.

Sai blinked and looked around, had he just been leading them around in circles? He swore that they were heading in the right direction. "Well... this is odd" he looked carefully for some sign of a magic user, but then doubted that even if there was one that they would allow him to see them. It must be something to do with the island... or maybe the tiger. Or both?

"What's the plan?" he asked the others, lost for ideas right now.

"I recommend marking each tree with an arrow to tell us which direction we went last time, so we won't get lost." Larita smiles, doing an arrow pointing left as the group continues left until they go to another major cross road. "W-which way should we go?" She asks, walking over to the three to draw a marking, only for the tree to screech in anger as it extends roots from the ground grabbing Larita. "Kyaa!" She screams.

Sai nodded, it was a good idea. They shouldn't get lost this way.. hopefully. As Larita continued to mark trees, and then was suddenly attacked.. what the hell else could go wrong with this mission? He drew his sword once more, and promptly and skillfully cut the roots as best he could. One of the perks of having a blade that he had, it never dulled. As such, they didn't have much chance of surviving, let alone a second swipe as he pulled her away from the tree. "Lets try and get out of here.. now, this is ridiculous"

Hebi sat quietly on the ground, her tail swishing back and forth, not noticing the creeping root coming down upon her like a tentacle monster from a crappy hentai movie.
'Nyu...' Hebi made her little sound when she suddenly felt the root trying to grab her, Hebi however proved too fast and manged to get out of the way and set the root ablaze much to the tiger kittens enjoyment and the roots agony.

"Let's go, fast!" Larita shouts over to Hebi and Sai, as she dashes through the forestry and in no time arrives back at the harbour they came from. Larita was dazed and stuttered, almost tripping over. "W-w-what? How can this be it? There was never a moving tree or anything like that when we first arrived..." She tests a few things, like checking if the ship was real and making sure it wasn't an illusion. Everything was right... the only thing that wasn't, was this island... how odd it was, well not like that was their job. "Over here, you two!" She shouts over smiling.

Hebi, tired of walking on all four, shifted into her regular cat-girl shape, holding the tiger in her arms, the tiny thing purring as she stroked its fur.
"Nyu. Now what do we do?" Hebi asked as she did her best to control the tiger.

"We get on that boat, get the tiger to its destination safely and go home" Sai said as he pulled the gang-plank to the boat and allowed the girls on first, before following behind them and quickly casting off, good thing he knew how to sail.. "Don't worry, we'll make it" He sighed, no more stupid island..

Larita climbed onto the ship, seems the Tiger had become restless, thinking we're allies more than enemies. Walking over to the cute tiger, she pats it. "I won't let anyone do anything bad to you, 'kay?" She asks it with a innocent face, rubbing its belly. "We're done, too." She turns to Sai and Hebi, happy the mission was a success.
