Rie stood on a cliff overlooking the ocean stretching for miles and miles towards the horizon, somewhere in Tharsis there was supposed to be some sort of treasure created by a skilled water mage back when the world was young. Shading her remaining eye Rie looked around, seeking some way to get down to the beach, according to her information its last known location was on the beach...

Rikuto was already at the bottom, sitting on the sand gazing apon the beautifull view of the ocean infront of him that seem the be endless. He had been theyre since sun rise, planning to take a break from travelling so much. The beach was quiet, Rikuto was actually the only person theyre at the moment, he wasnt botherd by it though, he preferd to just hear the sounds of the waves as he layed down on the sand, took out a can of soda and started to drink it.

Rie nimbly jumped off the cliff she was standing on, landing gently in the sand with cat like grace... Right before her cursed wounds flared up in pain, forcing her down on her knees, gasping in pain. Taking a few moments to catch her breath she stood up slowly, looking around... No signs of the mark of Aegorra, which meant the treasure wasn't anywhere near. With a sigh Rie took to wandering down the coast, hoping to find a sign of Aegorra soon...

Rikuto was about to close his eyes to take a quick nap untill something caught his eye. A girl, on her knees on in the distance, she seems to appear out of no where, he sat up and looked at her with a curious look on his face trying to figure where did she come from, he then looked up the cliff that was ontop of her. Did she.... Nahh.. Wait. He thought to himself, he notice her finally get up and started to walk by the coast towards him. The closer she got, the more Rikuto felt that he knew her, untill it hit him! It was Rie, another member of the Arcadian Adventurers! Riku quickly stood up and waved to catch her attention. Rie Nakamura!! Heeeyyy! He said with a smile.

Rie heard someone calling her name and look ahead seeing Rikuto, a fellow member of the Arcadian Adventurers, waving at her to get her attention. Rie waved back, moving closer as she did so. "Greetings Blizzard. What brings you out here to Tharsis, if I can be so bold as to inquire?" Rie spoke, her melodious voice reverberating smoothly in the air.

Walking towards her, he took out another can of soda, Rumors say that this is the best beach in Tharsis, I wanted to check it out while i take a break from travelling. He stopped infront of her and offerd Rie the soda. The sun has been mean today, you must be thirsty. He said to her smiling happily, Riku was glad to see someone here since the beach was abit Too quiet. What about you? what brings you here to the beach, you dont seem to have swim gear on you hehe. He joked.

Rie accepted the offered soda with a slight smile, cracking it open she turned towards the ocean... "I'm here looking for treasure. You wouldn't happen to have seen a small symbol... like an upside down water drop encased in a triangle in a circle in a square, would you?" Rie asked befer her smile turned sly. "As for swim wear... Who needs it?" Rie said, removing her suit jacket in the process.

Riku stood behind Rie and tried to remember if he saw any symbol that matched her discription. Hmm, im sorry, i have not stumbled apon such symbol. The thought of a treasure hunt made Rikuto want to forget about taking a break, knowing that adventure is right on the corner who would stay put and rest? Do you need assistence with your search? He asked as he turned to look at her lifting 1 eye brow, but then soon blushed and look away as she said her last sentence and started to take of her jacket.

Rie let out a polite laugh at Riku's blush as she fully removed her suit jacket. "Ah, much better." Rie said with a sigh as a breeze wafted through her hair. "Your offer of aid is appreciated, Blizzard. Two eyes sees more than one after all... I had no idea it would be so hot today..." Rie sighed before removing her sandals and standing in the water to cool off slightly. "From my information the treasure should be somewhere between here and Winhill further south.... Its broader than I'd like but I can't narrow it down further." Rie said as she finished drinking her soda.

Rikuto peeked slightly to see if Rie was done, he then turned around to see her standing on the water. It was normal of the weather to be like this, there was barely any clouds in the sky, and the sun was burning the whole beach up, Rikuto was tempted to jump in the water, it seemed so refreshing. Between her and Windhill huh... That quiet abit of ground to cover, but i guese with company the distance wont mater. He said as he finished his can of soda too while he walked towards her. Where do you wanna start? He questiond her as he stood beside her.

Rie turned towards Riku with a small smile on her face and took a step forward, stepping on a slippery rock (or something) and losing her balance, ending up seated in the shallow water with her dress-shirt utterly drenched, the light blue fabric clinging to her skin. "O-oh dear... It would seem that I slipped." Rie said, her mouth slightly open. "I suppose it could have been worse. Lets get going...." Rie got up, taking her jacket and sandals in one hand and beginning to walk south.

Rikuto smiled at her back, suddenly he saw her falling, unable to catch her in time, the water splashed to his face and Riku couldnt help but chuckle slightly with his eyes closed. He cleard the water from his face to then see her with her clothes completely wet, what caught his eye was her clothes wraping around her body. Rikutos cheeks once again turn red as he helped her up. Yes..That was quiet a fall.. He said softly trying to hide his blush. Not saying a word about her wet clothing, he cleary was enjoying the view as he folowed beside her. Whats this treasure gonna be? Gold? He questioned her as they walked south.

Rie shook her head gently, squeezing some leftover water out of her hair. "I really don't know... Some sort of magical artifact more than likely, its supposed to be the pinnacle of Aegorra's magical work... Or something, either way it seems no one is entirely sure what it actually is." Rie said as another breeze blew over the two of them. "I'm fairly sure there is Someone in the arcadian adventurers who can find a use for it, and if its just an ordinary treasure then more funding for all of us I suppose..." Rie said as the two continued walking.

Hmm, it must be well hidden if no one has ever found it yet.. He said as he glanced over Rie.
A cool breeze passing by the two of them, the heat of the sun didnt seem so punishing at the moment with the wind by theyre side. But with two Arcadian Adventurers im sure will find it with no problem. He said happily with a grin on his face. Looking around the general area trying to spot anything odd. There didnt seem to have anything on the beach, except. Did you notice that before?... Rikuto asked her as he spotted a wierd rock formation on the far side of the beach, it seemed to be a cave by the water.

Rie looked where Riku indicated, some sort of water cave... That looked rather promising.
"Looks like a cave of some kind... Lets take a look, yes?" Rie said, making her way over to said cave. "Well now, looks like we are in luck. The mark of Aegorra, plain as my scars." Rie pointed to the small symbol by a rock to the cave. "Well, I suggest we enter the cave and seek what may be found within its confines." Rie said, standing in front of said cave entrance.

Rikuto nodded his head as he followed Rie towards the cave, analizing the mark curiously befor he enterd with her. While inside, the cave seemed to be pretty small, the water from the ocean had coverd most of the ground. Looking at the walls to find any more marks, all he could see was notes on the wall craved by what seemed to be young couples. Hehe, thats kinda cute i guese. He said softly, it seemed that they werent the first to be here, but if people were here, it didnt seem that they were looking for treasure. Walking till the end of the cave which seemed to be a dead end. Found anything yet? He asked her. Rikuto accidentaly hit his foot againts a rock not noticing it under the shallow water. Ow ow ow! He wimperd hoping on one foot and falling againts the wall.

Rie looked over the walls and noticed the same markings left on the walls by lovers in the past as Riku did. Sooo.... it was a popular lovers retreat then? Good to know, maybe... Rie looked around for more signs of Aegorra until she heard Riku yelling out in pain, causing her to turn around. "What is wrong, Blizzard? Are you injured?" Rie asked, fully prepared to use her healing technique if needed.

It...Its ok, I just hit this supid rock on the ground. He replied to her as he rubbed his foot while siting down, his face slightly sore cause he slammed it againts the wall, but it wasnt something he couldnt handle. Riku leand his back againts the wall as he sat down, trying to see if there was anything he could find as he looked up, nothing. A place so small, if treasure was hidden somewhere in here, there had to be some kind of secret entrance or somthing, they just needed to find it.

Rie, after making sure there was no real injury, nodded and began looking around for a mark of Aegorra, after much searching she eventually found one further into the cave. "Well... Looks like I found the entrance to Aegorra's hideout, now to get it open..." Rie said as she began looking around for some kind of opening mechanism or something...

Nice one! He congratulated her for her find while he started to get up. While Riku was getting up he notice something particular on the ground, it was hard to see at first because it was coverd by the water, but the rock that Rikuto hit his foot with had something writen on it. A..Another mark? He said as he looked at it closely. Looking at Rie and then back to the rock, Rikuto had a hunch that he wanted to test out, he stepped ontop of the rock which started to sink into the ground, it turns out that it was actually a pressure plate. Mechanical sounds started to eco in the cave and suddenly the entrance where his partner was started to open slowly. Hehe, i found the key i guese. Rikuto said with a smirk on his face as he watched the entrance open.

Rie smiled slightly as the door opened, revealing a greater chamber inside, oh yes, they were definitely in the right place.
"It would seem you did, Blizzard. Well, shall we?" Rie said as she stepped through the door, within was an underground library, rows upon rows of book shelves filled to the brim with books and at the very far end there was a great iron door, the mark of Aegorra emblazoned upon it. Seems Aegorra didn't care for secrecy one one got past the hidden door... Granted the hidden door was usually hard to find unless one knew where to look.

Ladies first. He bowed before passing in the entrance and waited for Rie to go in first, as she went in he followed after. Rikuto had picked up on of the books in the shelves and opend it to see what it said, but most of the books seemed to be quiet old since it was writen in a language he had never seen. He put back the book and moved towards the Iron door to observe it. Its locked tight... Any bright ideas on how to open this thing? He asked Rie as he tried a fail attempt on opening the door by force, it didnt move and inch.

Rie looked at the door, simple metal as far as she could tell... Well, time to bring out the can opener. "Stand aside, please." Rie said, bringing her Garyoutensei up and stabbing it through the door "This should take but a moment." Rie smiled before she began to carve out a relatively large circle in the door. (Like a lightsaber... but not.)

Rikuto looked at her curiously and did as she said, wondering what would she do since she asked him to back of abit. Seeing her pull out some kind of sword and cutting the door like if it was butter amazed him, he had never seen such a weapon before. That.. looked soo cool! He said fanboying slightly. Rikuto walked to the door and pushed it slightly, Rie had done pretty much all the work to it so the little push was enough to make it collapse to the other side, causing abit amount of dust to blow towards them as it fell, revealing the other side. Nice job Rie. He said to her.

Rie looked around the innermost chamber of Aegorra's hideout... It was rather bare, only a large glass tank, a table and chair and a book stand in front of the tank... What was interesting was in the tank: there, sleeping, was a mermaid. Could it be? Was the Mermaid Aegorra's greatest magical treasure? Placing a hand on the glass of the tank Rie smiled sadly down at the sleeping mermaid. "Who knows how long she has been here all alone... We should let her go, shouldn't we? It must have been at least a hundred years since she last had any company..." Rie spoke softly, watching the mermaid sleep.
