Ok well since im a vamp and you don't have um a 'what ur capable of' thingy yet so i've got a question, can i fly without a broom?

Well as a mage, you can already fly, just not as well as if it were were with a broom.
But i think vampires can glide, but not fly

Yes. But it truly depends on what type of vampire you are basing yourself off. Classical, who turn into bats, or modern, who don't really need to fly, as they can jump as high as they want.

i think it matters if ur a pureblood vampire is eva? anyway yea i think if ur like eva, then u can jump really high and suspend urself in the air like her but not actually fly... maybe

But even so, Gliding, mages can fly on practically anything, Eva could fly later on when her powers returned, but for now i say gliding

gliding, hmm, ok. say i can glide as high as one feet and slightly faster than a normal human.

i think your confusing it with hovering, gliding is to ride an air current, but you have to be at a higher area for it, you cant take off like flying.Basically you can fly but you cant take off from the ground, you can do everything but get yourself off the ground
