Yoko: So this is what Magic Knights do, im not impressed

Watching the groups of people flying around doing "magic" things, Yoko just sat on the grass and laughed at them.

Umi: Yoko! shut up or we'll get fucked up by the magic knights, there stronger than us remember? Now get in line!

Umi and Yoko got in line as the squad of magic knight trainees stood in rank with there brooms in their hands, a senior officer, a man with a large beard, called out to them.

Oji~san: Alright kids, ill teach you the staple of Aerial Combat, and that is the Flight Hazard Barrier, can anyone tell me what that is?

Yoko: Is it a barrier, that protects against flight hazards?

Yoko started to twirl his pactio card in his hand.

Umi: Its a anti-material barrier which deflects any kind of physical material that hits it, though its of small size, it has enough power to protect the user.

Picking up a regular magic knight broom, he prepped a little and set up his Flight Hazard Barrier given the instructions.

Umi: So Yoko, wanna challenge these new kids to an air battle??

Yoko: Im down, lets go.

Standing on the edge of Umi's broom, Yoko withdrew his artifact, creating a regular nodachi, he readied himself for combat. As the other teams of recruits lifted themselves up into the air, Yoko was lifted by the activation of Umi's broom.

Yoko: Zankusen!

Umi: Yoko! Their magic barriers would block your Ki attacks, you'll need something better than that.. GeroGero! Septemdecim Spiritus Undiales Coentes Saggitet Inimicum, Sagitta Magica, Series Undis

Umi took off on his broom, and the recruits followed suit, unleashing his water spell, the 17 missiles of water flew at the knights closest to them, hitting the front runners and knocking them back a little

Yoko: Get me up close and i can slice the barrier in half..

Yoko jumped off the broom and and pounced on the Magic Knights, using his Zanganken his blade collided with the magic symbol of the barrier, knocking the broom off balance and sending it thrashing off into the field. Yoko, unable to find a foothold, was falling through the air

Umi: Dammit, Paries Extendetum....Area Constet

Letting go of his barriers, he moved one directly under Yoko, giving him something to land on, but Umi had only his Magic Barrier left. The Magic knights seized the chance to attack both Umi and Yoko.

Umi: GeroGero! Artis specialis Undegratio Azuricans limitatus per centum octoginta secunda, Una undina concidens tempestas, in mea manu inimicum edat, movens sit verba! Dominus Aquarius.. Gerogero! septemdecim spiritus undiales coentes sagittet inimicum...

Charging up his water spell and another sagitta magica, he moved a little faster to give him some time.

Yoko: Im shocked you know so many spells... Hyakkuretsu Okazan!

Whipping up a storm of ki-based cherry blossoms, Yoko protect himself from all sides with his Ougi, he didnt know any defensive skills, as he left his defense to Umi. Yoko gave himself a little pause before jumping as fast as he could to where Umi's broom was and landed on it, the rest of the magic knights came flying at them like rockets.

Yoko: Ill leave the rest to you

Umi: Emittam!

Unleashing another barrage of sagitta magica at the speeding magic knights, they avoid all of them and kept their distance, just far enough to give them time to evade his attacks but close enough to attack when they wanted. One knight cast a Sagitta Magica, which Umi could tell was of the lightning variety, the numerous arrows of thunder came crashing around Umi and Yoko, but his magic barrier kept him safe from harm.

Umi: That last one almost destroyed my barrier.... these guys dont play around...

Yoko: You need to work on your barriers...

A blast of lightning from a knight to the left of Umi hit the Broom, reducing his magical barrier to a few measly pieces and sending a pulse of burning lightning into both their bodies, from the opposite side another knight came at them with a fire spell, blowing apart the shield and setting the broom on fire. Yoko had no other choice but pick up the wounded Umi and jumped of the broom, tumbling to the ground at high speed.

Umi:... why do we always have to pick fights with people...

landing in a crumpled heap of the ground, Umi was left burned and paralyzed from the magic knights assault, he was sure he didnt MEAN do piss them off, but for some reason he just does it naturally. The knights were no longer playing fair, and already did a number on the two newbies.

Umi: My healing magic wont help against offensive magic like this, i think we need a plan.

the knights flew over head, ready to circle back around and attack the kids again.

Yoko, not doing much better, was trying to pick himself up off the ground, protecting Umi for most of the fall, he had serious injuries, he tried to use Ki-Ai to patch himself up a little bit, but it only worked well enough to dull the pain. Using his pactio card he called upon his artifact and his other sword, the new Gladius Fulminus he attached to his costume.

Yoko:Adeat!

Umi: Give me a moment, gotta repair my barriers....

Sinking into a meditative trance, Umi started to manually repair his barriers, as it was an extension of his will, he simply needed to reform what was already their. By the time he came to, The Magic Knight Recruit were coming back at him at full speed. Once they were within range of Umi and Yoko, he cast his instant water wall spell. defending them from the offensive spells being shot at them for a moment.

Umi: GeroGero! Undans Paries Aquarius

Yoko: Hyakkaryouran!

Something inside Yoko awakened, he felt his Ki increase to phenomenal levels, it rushed out of his body so fast he felt burn his skin. His ougi unleashed a larger wave of Ki then before, colliding head on with Magic Knights, shattering their barriers with one strike. Before the power overwhelmed him, he calmed down, and let Umi finish the rest.

Umi: Emittam

Unleashing a barrage of Sagitta Magica spells into the magic knights area, it created a large blue explosion, sending the knights scattering in different directions. Only one of them, obviously the strongest of the bunch, came charging at Umi, he cast his Fulgratio Albicans spells and sent it flying at Umi.

Umi: Dominus Aquarius, Emittam!

Umi unleashed his delay spell, he created a large ball of water that blocked the opposing knights attack with the same military grade spell. Umi felt slightly weakened by the delay, it took to much out of him.

Captain:Alright kids, no more playing around, back to work...

Yoko: That was playing? we almost died....
