Jess was at her house (Specially scaled up for her comfort) and trying to cook a good dinner for Thanksgiving. She was used to just cooking for herself, not so many guests... She looked at the clock nervously, putting her hand to her head. She couldn't get distracted now, the turkey would be done in just a few minutes. Just then she heard the doorbell ring, sighing as she went over to answer it. Last time she'd tried to cook a thanksgiving dinner such as this the turkey had burned, and so several people wound up fighting over the last of the ham.

Hi there Jess! Taurou calls walking in the door unannounced. How's the Turkey coming along? He walks up to her and watched the turkey bake. Looks good. He laughs.

Jessica closed the door as she stated simply "I don't recall inviting you... But hey, I figured there'd be a few party-crashers..." She nearly jumped as the timer went off, rushing over to the oven as she put on the oven mitts and grabbed the thermometer... "Ok, thank goodness... Just right." She said, putting the turkey on the counter. "You're also very early..."

[OOC: 175.26 cm... Could you convert that into feet and inches please? ^^;]

Taurou shrugs as he watches Jess take the turkey out. I was told there was going to be a party, not a time when though. He laughs again. And why would you consider me a party crasher? He sits down on a chair not too far away and cocks an eyebrow. Am I not wanted? he said with mock pain in his voice.

Ken arrived just as he could smell the fresh fragrance of a beautiful turkey. Storming in the room, he sat rather interestingly on the table, aiming to have a great feast with everyone. "Thanks for inviting me over, seems we're getting off to a better start," He grins, referring to the fact, the first time they met, they were both on cautious and untrustworthy grounds. "Who else is coming?" He asks.

William also arrived at the house, set-up quit neatly and nicely. “Hahaha... Sorry I’m late!” He shouts informing everyone he was here. He also invited Rose, Rie, Ashraeh and Aliidan to the dinner – but he doubted they’d show up. They’ve never celebrated thanksgiving other than this, so it’s Will’s first time. Jumping in the room to make an entrance, he gives his greetings to everyone that had already arrived, seeing the finely cooked turkey, he almost pounced at it, however contained himself to do so. He was obviously in a rather energetic mood...

Taurou eyed the new arrivals with an uninterested eye. He sat up in his chair and waved hello to Will. He would have waved to Ken, but his expression told him he shouldn't. How many more people are coming to this? he asked with a less than polite tone. He was going to get a little uneasy with more than a couple of people in the room. He hated crowded places.

"I'm not sure if Jess has invited any others, but I invited a few of my ministra along... Well, they're all like friends to me- not servants or partners. Either way, I'm not sure if they're coming or not." William explains, with a nod, waving hello back nonchalantly. In fact, William actually likes crowded places. He usually becomes the center of attention when he doesn't realise it, which could piss other people off. Either way, the more people the merrier is what Will always believed.

Taurou nodded at Will's response. Well, if it isn't more than five people you invited, I guess I won't be too uncomfortable. He laughs awkwardly. He looked over at Ken who was looking at Jess. Taurou shook his head and tried making small talk with Will to ease the awkwardness. So, what magical element do you specialize in? He was so bad at small talk, but he hated awkwardness.

"Besides William's friends I doubt anyone else is coming, and like he said they might not show..." Just then Jess smelled smoke, she quickly went into the kitchen to find the cornbread was starting to burn. she quickly stopped the oven before it caught on fire and did her best to bear the smell. "Looks like the cornbread's gonna be overdone, just a bit..." It was somewhat blackened around the edges. "Then again, I've never tried to cook this much cornbread at once." She wondered how many of her guests had picked up on the fact that she wasn't used to cooking for so many people. A sweatdrop found it's way down her head as she put the cornbread on the counter and went to add some chives to the potatoes then mash them up...

Just then a certain Vampire started to knock on the door, she'd heard about the party and had nothing better to do. She'd met a new teacher, remembered a lot of her past, and then changed sides because of remembering her past... She'd been through a lot, there was no need to say it.

William looked impressed at Jessica cooking for such a large group. He looked at the cornbread, slightly burnt, but it didn’t matter, he knew he’d like it nonetheless, he wasn’t fussy. He noticed Jessica was trying hard, “You’re doing pretty well,” He compliments, as he turns to Taurou. “My most efficient element is fire! What about you?” He confidently nods, proudly.

Upon the new arrival, “Welcome, you also joining for the party?” She smiles at the new arrival, a girl, who entered the house. He distinctly remembers her from the Everlast Destruction, but didn’t recall her doing anything bad. In fact, it seemed more of a good impression.

Kagami nodded as she came in, come to think of it she also recognised the archer. 'Didn't Jess save him from his death?' Kagami thought as she seated herself, thanking herself that she chose not to wear a skirt because of the furniture being oversized... "Well, looks like someone needs to get this party started!" She said in a loud voice, pulling an MP3 out of her purse and plugging a speaker into it... Soon dance music was coming out of the speaker, suprisingly loud considering how small it was. As the vampire grinned, her fangs became visible. She didn't know whether that would scare anyone or not and so assumed it was safe. If it wasn't she could defend herself easily.

Taurou looked at the vampire who had plugged in the MP3 with a raised eyebrow. Sense when did vampires like partying? He asked trying to be heard over the music. He doubted that she had heard him so he just looked at Will and said I'm a lightning specialist. He knew Will had heard him considering he was right next to him. He looked at Jess as she was placing the burnt cornbread on the table. He chuckled to himself.

"Hmm... A party? Alright!!" He winks at the new arrival, beginning to dance happily to the music. Ken pretty much liked the music that was playing, it was his type. Unlike the rest, he wasn't a mage, which made him feel uncomfortable slightly. Dancing to the song, he awaited the beautiful meal to be prepared.

Looking at the guy who was here before everyone else, he was the only one Ken didn't know. "Hey, what's your name anyway?" Ken asks, touching his shoulder. Ken was obviously more menacing to guys without even noticing he is himself.

Taurou looked up at Ken and said, Taurou. Just, Taurou. He did his best to sound polite, seeing as how he was speaking loudly to be heard over the music. And yours? Oh wait, Ken right? I've heard about you from master. He said something incomprehensible after that as the music was turned up to a blaringly loud volume.

William smiles as the music is put on, not knowing about the girl’s status as a vampire. As she smiled widely, he saw small fangs; he literally jumped out of his seat, causing a small ruckus. Sitting back down, “You’re a vampire...?” He asks, cautiously. He was never good with talking when shocked. Calming himself down, he begins singing (not bad, but not great) with the lyrics, taking out a bottle of sake and pours some into a glass and gulps it down. He also offers some to everyone else.

Taurou chuckles at Will's nervous demeanor and gladly accepts the sake. He swallows it down and motions for Kagami to sit between him and Will.

Mortimer was more than a little nervous to say the least. He'd brought a pumpkin pie with him (he didn't know why as he didn't even like pumpkin) as it was said to be the "festive thing". For some reason Mortimer had recieved an invitation for this giving of gratitude and as soon as his older apprentice had seen it, he had begged Mortimer to accept and let him come... or at least that was howMortimer remembered it, he was half asleep at the time so his recollection of it may have been... foggy at best.

That didn't change the fact that right now he was standing outside of a strangers door holding a pie he didn't like and wasn't going to eat. Breathing deeply through his nose he opened the door smiling widely with his eyes mostly closed and belted out "Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I brought PIE!" It was only with this last mention of pie that he opened his eyes... aside from Taurou he was now standing in a room of people he was fairly certain hated him.

Ken, who he hadn't directly harmed but was still a part of the movement which injured him, William who he had vehemently fought with during the attack, the instructor woman who had almost died because of his minstra and Kagami... wellllll, one could only assume that because she had chosen to avoid him after the battle she held some form of grudge against him. Well %*@!, was all Mortimer could think of as he looked across the room and preyed he wasn't shot, flamed, beaten or sliced within the next five seconds.

Taurou saw Alberio walk in and he jumped out of his seat. He put his sake glass on the table behind him and yelled out Master! I didn't think you'd come here! He walked over to him and patted him on the back. He eyed the pie he had brought and then looked up at him. I didn't think you liked pumpkin. He walked his master over to a seat and sat next to him, feeling a little more at ease than he was before.

"Yes, I am a vampire, deal with it." Kagami cringed at William's tone, frowning as she recognised the voice at the door. "Oh great... Who invited my old Sensei-baka?" She blushed, she still wasn't over her feelings for him and this was a totally inappropriate time and place for all that sort of emotionality. Nonetheless she sat next to William as the familiar face came in... "Don't think pie will make up for what happened between us, sensei-baka."

Jess had thought in light of recent events now might be a good time to change Mortimer's mind and heart about some things... Especially because one of his old students was here, Kagami. She'd finally finished the mashed potatoes as she put them out along with some butter and sour cream, the fact she had a crowded fridge didn't help her timing.

’What a personality, that vampire has...!’ William thought to himself bluntly as the vampire rudely spoke to him. Though, most things went right over his head, so it didn’t cause him to get angry or anything. As Mortimer entered the room, William’s eyes widened and he was slightly shocked. “Who invited him?” William asks rather angrily, he did injure Mortimer, but he hadn’t done that much damage and did want to get in another fight.

Then again, this wasn’t the time nor place for such events. He couldn’t start a fight, especially not in Jessica’s house. He cautiously allowed Mortimer to do what he wanted, but if he tried anything- William didn’t expect to let him go. Turning to the vampire girl, she had spoken to Mortimer, obviously having a few tides with him. William didn't think bad of her, but he couldn't trust her that easily, either. She did say she didn't want to join the evil guys in destroying the school, but... there was something 'fishy'.

Kagami did the only things she could to stop blushing. A sullen frown formed on her face, still showing her fangs. She crossed her legs, and tilted her hat downwards, hiding her eyes before she crossed her arms. Just in case, she was ready to send a flame spray at her old sensei. Now the hostile part of her behavior towards him couldn't be any more obvious...

Mortimer took a deep breath before standing up and placed both hands on the table, leaning forward slightly. "Okay, there's an elephant in the room and we all need to deal with it. Now we have three options. a. Let the meal continue and pretend that nothing's wrong even though we all know it is. b. Let me speak and tell you why I did those things and reestablish and line of communication. 3. Make me leave the house now. If anyone doesn't want me here I will go... but I'm taking the pie with me." He held up the pie briefly before setting it back down on the table. "So what's it going to be?"
