Haha its actually pretty good, if you can trudge through the 1st 60 chapters (Pointless, but EXTREMELY necessary)

Not a lot of character Development though, only Gokudera and Yamamoto get development, but there the best characters anyways, which is why you need to read the first 60

The first 60 chapters were almost all useless!! Other than inviting some characters in, you could skip more than 3/4 of them, and the 'development' for Gokudera and Yamamoto were bad, very bad. I wouldn't even call what they did 'training.'

But after them, it actually does get better.

Not the training you dolt, that doesnt solve anything, i mean the ACTUAL development between those two characters and everyone else, if you cant see you didnt read it. and since the first 60 chapters have ALOT to do with the story (10th,Boss, Introducing characters, Plot points, and of course Irie Shoichi, Box Weapons, Vongola connections, Tsuna's abilities, and Hibari's hatred of Mukuro, illusions and others)

Compare Gokudera in chapter 2-20 to Gokudera in the Varia Arc, then again in the Final Battle, in ANY battle he's in. The same with Yamamoto.

Um, not really. Even some of the character introduction chapters were stupid and more than likely unneeded to be a whole chapter.

I skipped those chapter because to me it was like the first season of bleach worse than filler the flashbacks do more than enough backstory in the end. altough Vongola Primo is awesome in my opinion he is like the Nagi of that series.

It gets good at the Murako arc and yeh, Vongola Primo seems the most interesting, better than the fork dude. XD

Yeah what was he like a cannibal or something? anyway the new arc is sort of similar to the previous scenario only the Vongola rings got totalled oh yeah & yamamoto has pretty much lost his legs thanks to kyoko.

Yeah, though the new arc seems predictable, it does seem pretty interesting. Though, hate how Chrome and Yamamoto were already put out of commision already. And no Lambo. xD

That's just some odd pattern, I guess? It usually ends with them either being splitted up or owned/defeated. The only exception might be the Murako arc.

I actually like the villians, there easy to understand. They're pissed here's why, and it makes sense. Sure they're psycho people, but they have every reason to be(except Byakuran)

Mukuro was horribly experimented upon, so he killed the evil bastards that did it, they were Mafia, so he hated all Mafia cause they'll all inevitably do that to someone else

Xanxus was treated horribly, but he was perfectly fine as the 9th's "son", and future boss, but when Tsuna came in he was pissed. Xanxus fought his entire life to be what he was, but Tsuna came in and just took it from him without him knowing it.

Byakuran was well, just crazy. His life was fine until he became the user of the Mare ring. It seems like his entire life he was destined to be its user, and he believed he deserved the power, so he took it and became what he was.

Enma makes sense because, well, he's normal. His life sucked, everyone hated him, so suddenly when he got tremendous power, what did he do? Attack the people that mistreated him.
