Jess often came to Ostia, whether it was on her own or with a few students. This time she was with four students of hers - Nana, Alice, Shinji, and Roy. Nana and Shinji had decided to stay with her for now, but Alice and Roy (the two lovers) had gone off on their own... Little did they know what they were about to miss. These three were playing a game of hide-and-seek and of course Jess thought she'd found one of the two...

"Gotch-" She yelled, interrupted when she realised she'd actually caught a bunny. "What the... Sorry lil' fella." She said, feeling sorry for shouting in his ears.

''hahaha' Babs laughed joyfully, arms spread out wide as if running to a distant lover while running through a meadow as it rained carrots. Babs span around, laughing and marvelling in the natural miracle that such a thing can happen as carrots continued to pour from the sky. Stretching out her hands she caught a carrot, holding it up to her ear she pretended the carrot was talking ''whats that Mr.Carrot? you want me to eat you? well...if you insist'' slowly as Babs went to bite into that delicious long awaited carrot

''"Gotch-"

A voice screamed into her ears which awoke Babs out of her day time nap, the sudden surprise caught babs unaware and she jumped a few feet into the air in shock. While in her bunny form she landed sprawled out on her back. 'what the hell' she thought to herself from the sudden surprise form the stranger's shouting.

Eventually Babs rolled over on her legs, she started to get her bearing again and then thought back to the dream, 'i was so close' she thought to herself while thinking of biting into the carrot, she got a bit watery around the eyes and then looked up annoyed at the intruder in front of her. A couple of horrible thought crossed her mind about what to do with the person. Babs took a few paces forward and while looking as innocent as possible SHE LUNCHED in a attempt for the persons face.

If successful Babs would only succeed hugging onto jess's face while causing no damage but being a annoying fussy creature holding on tight and blocking her vision.

Jess frowned as the creature attached itself to her face... "I really am quite sorry." She said in a clam voice. She would only resort to pulling the rabbit off if the rabbit did not come off itself. She didn't know how but she'd seen a gleam ofd intelligence in the creature's eyes... Perhaps it was a chimera of some sort?

Babs would try thumping Jess, her small furry paws bashing away in her small rabbit form, but would only do as much damage as run hitting someone with small soft pillows. 'i bet your feeling sorry now, FEEL MY WRATH!' Babs thought to herself as she continued her merciless assault.

Finally unable to take any more of this Jess pulled the rabbit off of her face. "I really am quite sorry." Though she'd been saving it for a snack later she got out the carrot she had on her. "Will a snack make you forgive me?"

'take this and this and thi-HEEEEY' thought when her small paws was battering on jess's face absolutely causing no effect while even possibly being more ticklish than hurtful. She was lifted off jess's face and struggled for a moment before getting tired and stooped, panting slowly and dangling in jess's hands. 'don't think you won!' thought Babs '..i just need to catch my breath!' she continued to say to herself Babs listened to what jess had to say and then a tasty looking carrot came into view, her eyes opened and she struggled with new gained strength, possibly even enough to cause jess to try and restrain babs with two hands since she was soo excited.

Jess sighed, letting the bunny out of her grasp and handing it the carrot. "You sure are a hyper lil' fella aren't you?" She contemplated keeping it as a pet. "I think I'll call you... Ino. Because you sure do act like a boar, stubborn and loving food..."

When released babs tackles the carrot and rolled a few times with it. She held the carrot lovingly in her small paws. She remembered the stranger infront of her and snapped out of her excited trance, gripping the carrot she took a few paces backwards while cautiously keeping a eye on Jess 'mine!' she thought while gripping onto the carrot. Babs continued to be cautious of Jess while trying to make out what jess was up to. Hearing wat Jess was saying 'Ino Is a nice name' babs thought to herself but but didn't pay much attention to what else she had to say because she began tucking into the carrot with amazing speed, gulping it up in seconds all for the size of babs. Babs was swelled up with joy after havin such a tasty free meal that she wanted more. She attempted to get more by trying to scurrying up Jess and sit on her head while thumping her small paws down on her head ''haha more more plz' she would think to herself while in such a happy mood.

Jess smiled. "Now lil Ino, get out of the way of my eyes so I can take you back to camp." She was starting to like the rabbit, not suspecting in the least what the rabbit was capable of except for a bit of wonder about the intelligence in it's eyes.

Babs was playfully playing ontop of jess's head, patting her small paws ontop of her head while thinking of that delicious carrot. She heard what Jess had to say 'back to camp?...hmm' she took a moment to think about this, thinking what kind of camp it could be, a slave camp? mercenary camp? possibly even just a band camp?! She wasn't sure what it could be however ''RAWR'' Babs stomach howled. She was pretty hungry still and she figured there should definitely be some more food at this camp of hers so she decided to accompany jess.

Babs jumped down from Jess's head and onto her shoulder were she would sit and accompany Jess 'MUSH! YA! GIDDY UP! MY BELLYS HUNGRY!..' babs thought to herself while they began there journey.

Jess smiled as her students had decided to come back to camp. it seemed she wasn't the only one who'd wanted to get some food, even if it was for the new pet of hers... In any case Jess gave 'Ino' some more carrots to eat, and she had herself some onigiri just as a snack.

"Jess, what's with the bunny?" Alice asked.

"This is our new pet, Ino. I found him out in the forest playing hide-and-seek with Nana and Shinji."

"I guess that explains what took you!" Shinji yelled, somewhat unhappy...

Nana started petting the bunny and Roy gave a suspicious look. Were he and Alice the only ones who could sense something wasn't right about this fluffy guest?

Sensing Roy's suspicions Alice decided to try scanning the thoughts of the bunny.

babs's noise caught a wift of something, it smelled delicious, she started to get excited by the second while taking into the overwhelming smell 'CARROTS' She thought to herself and again twenty times repeatedly 'carrots, carrots, carrots, carrots..' going absolutely bunkers. Babs was jumping up and down on jess's shoulder in excitement until that first carrot appeared, her eyes watered, her heart thumped 'CARROT' and bounced off jess and tackleing the carrot out of jess's hand.

'yum yum yum yum' she nomed on the carrot while not minding that she was being stroked, it felt quite soothing actually however nothing would take her mind of the carrot in her hands. At one point she tried to fit the entire thing in her mouth and then the petting caused her to choke somewhat but she got over it 'CARROT!'

In this state babs is in a carrot trance and to get anything intelligent apart from carrots from babs would be a big failure.

After a stuffing of Carrots, babs was laying with her back on the ground, really enjoying a good carrot while her large belly a bit full from the carrots moved up and down with her breaths.

Matter of fact the 'carrot trance' overwhelmed Alice when she tried to read the rabbits mind, causing her to faint. Roy quickly rushed over and caught her in his arms, While Jess wondered what had happened.

Nana quickly put the puzzle peices together however. "Guess the psychic got overwhelmed by how differently a rabbit's mind works."

Babs lifted her head too see just what the commotion was 'carrot...?'' she saw a girl in a guys arms 'aww' she thought to herself think those two must be boy friend and girl friend while completely missing what really happened. Babs began to scamper up to Jess's head again to get a better look around her. Babs took a deep breath in, enjoying the fresh air, momentaily letting her guard down when a hawk came down and snatched her off jess's head. 'craaaaaaaaaaap' thought Babs as she scrambled in the hawks grip.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" Shinji shouted, slinging a rock at the hawk. He'd occasionally thrown rocks at small animals on camping trips like this, so he had at least basic experience... Still he missed, but at least he'd alerted his teacher to what had happened.

She was somewhat better at aim, since one point of Earth magic was using rocks as projectiles. She threw a rock at the bird and broke it's wing, then raced after the falling avian to rescue the bunny. Little did the Earth Mage suspect there was a werewolf waiting to ambush her.
