They were in the portal room in Syrtis, he didn't like that a bunch of random people knew where his little man cave was but he was happy hosting a fun event that he knew would be lots of fun.

Marie snickered. 'This is gonna be so much fun' She thought to herself, having heard rumors of what the human world was like. She loved seeking out new places, especially places she could shop. But this she was interested in for different reasons as well, her Father having grown up in the Human World.

He then produced a puppy from his bag the threw it it into the portal.

Arf! Arf! is yelped as it suddenly disappeared in a after a short popping sound was made.

Hah, he thought, I wonder how many of these people haven't used a portal. He then looked around to see some of the less traveled participants shaking at the spectacle.

He then picked up his stick that looked like a prodding and looked to see who he can torment for the moment.

You! he snapped suddenly pointing at a random individual.

Get ready to go he sneered as he was pushing his newest vision towards the ominous portal....

Marie suddenly got very nervous, she'd never done this before and now was very scared... "Uhh... On second thought no." She stated, trying to get away from Darren as he pushed her towards the portal.

Hahaha don't worry about it I'm 96% sure that this thing is safe.

Again keep your hands and feet inside the portal at all times.

He then stared at the girl face level with a grin.

I heard it is alot safer for the newbies if you close your eyes at the end of the portal and shout help I'm on of fire! at the end of the portal he said sweeping up Marie off her feet before tossing her towards the portal.

Orah! Darren shouted as he went threw Marie spinning into the portal.

Marie was surprised... It actually didn't feel that weird or anything. The closing her eyes did help, but she wouldn't fall for the last part of that... That was just plain stupid, even by her standards (Which weren't very high). She looked around in curiosity, and at that wondered where the puppy was. She soon found it and picked it up, petting it.

Oh there you are a voice called at Marie.

It was Amelia who offered her a hand up and led her along the path.

Wait right here we should gather up and move out in just a few minutes she said patting her in the head and went back to the portal.

Meanwhile....

Darren was going on a spree pushing people into the portal. He eventually stuffed everyone into the portal.

Alright my turn he said as he rushed the portal with a tackle...

Oh...my Amelia said as the pile of people stated to form on the other side.

She then had a look of concern on her face. If Darren isn't carefu- she stopped as he saw the visage of Darren crash into the pile.

Suddenly the lights of the portal gave out as Darren was leaving the gate.

He looked at Darren with a face of annoyance

Sigh* Do you know what you just did? You just broke the portal! We are stuck here until we can get that thing fixed! she said chiding him

Meh What's wrong with that? Darren replied

What's wrong with that? Look at them she said pointing at the rather distinct mannerisms and clothing of the mages.

I don't think we'll be able to stay hidden from the people in this realm. And to top it off...

A huge burst of magic suddenly flew as above them causing shockwaves in the area.

We have that...we'll have curious people comin in the hundreds until we get this situation settled.

Darren finally understood.

Kimihiro's day was not a lucky one. First and foremost, his family's trait of not being able to stay in one job for long had finally caught him in it's skeletal fingers, robbing him of his occupation - a cut in the department he was working in and it was his head that was rolling on the floor towards the doors leading outside at the end of it all.

Worse yet, he was scammed by a taxi driver who was taking him into a mountain-side resort, where he was hoping to rest his weary body and think of what to do next, leaving him stranded in the middle of nowhere. Sure, he didn't mind either that much, as he had a decent sense of direction and could easily (probably) get back to town and could (probably again) get a new job, but it WAS somewhat frustrating, especially considering that his relatives offered not a drop of sympathy or (not that he hoped) advice.

And now, this. Out of nowhere, with flashy effects and a loud noise, a group of people popped out of nowhere several tens of meters in front of him, with only a couple of trees separating them from him. Luckily enough, he was not noticed immediately, as the group started arguing about something as soon as they appeared.

Great... this day just keeps getting better and better with each passing moment... muttered the former salaryman, starting to walk towards the group. Sure, they were suspicious enough, but they did seem like they could use some help with directions, considering thie strange getups... Maybe they're aliens? They sure aren't locals.

Marie laughed, she had little idea where she was but had one clever idea. Once the guy was busy she'd sneak off and make some mischeif with the local 'muggles'. Make them think her a goddess. It was the cleverest trick ever, and she knew where to start.

Darren looked worried for a bit looking down at the ground for a bit.

Hmm... aww well I might as well show the group around town he said finally looking at Amelia and then the group.

Arah? he said looking at the empty space where the mages were.

Erm...where'd they go? He asked Amelia

About half of them left a long time ago...something about looking around and getting away from some "maniac" she said looking at Darren

Meh alright I'll see what I can do he said looking glumly at the situation

He then saw a human walking towards them.

Hmm? Already checking us out? he sighed moving to intercept, Amelia get the portal up and running within the hour while I sort everything else out.

He then blocked the person's way.

As approached the group, Kimihiro saw that he was duly noticed and a person stepped up to confront him. He didn't really see his face in detail, but the strange clothing and overly long hair was enough to say that he was just as odd as the rest of the people present.

"Excuse me, do you happen to need directions? You seem like you are kinda alien to the area."
