Marie and Najiko hated it when Mortimer spent so long in his lab, and finally didn't have the patience to wait outside. So in they went, to find Mortimer stirring a huge cauldron. But right at that moment Najiko sneezed, dozens of bone needles flying out of her fingertips andbullet speeds and knocking stuff into the cauldron as well as loosening some shelves enough they collapsed. To avoid being crushed Najiko and Marie had to dodge, but Najiko in doing so wound up colliding with Mortimer quite hard, most likely knocking him off balance and into the cauldron along with her.

"Gah, wo, NO!" Mortimer splashed into the cauldron of bubbling green goop unable to extridite himself from the slime and sunk briefly to the bottom of the massive cauldron. The longer he stayed in the harder it would be to get out. Swinging his arms up he sought a way out, but to no avail, what was previously within arms reach was now far away. Pushing off the bottom mortimer storked upwards kicking, digging and swimming through the syrupy substance.

After what felt like an eternity he finally reached the surface and yanked himself onto the rim of the cauldron. Panting heavily and violently as he hacked up the green gloop, it was plain to see that he was now no more than six inches tall.

Najiko emerged roughly 30 seconds later, no bigger than 1/4th inch. "Wha... Uncle Mortimer, what happened?"

"... Oh my god you're tinies!" Marie squealed excitedly, clearly she'd been spending too much time reading stories about such things as she picked up Mortimer and cuddled him. "So cute~!"

"GAK!" Mortimer was swept up into the bone crushing (literally) hug of Marie. He had the strangest feeling of Deja Vu... as if he had been a very similar situation before... or rather MANY times before. Still the result was the same, he was small, being squished and in no small amount of pain. "Need... to, get... CURE!" The tiny Mortimer cried out unable to escape.

Marie stopped Huggin Mortimer, keeping only a loose grip on him. "Hmm? Where's Najiko!"

"Down here!" The ninja squeaked upon having climbed the rim of the cauldron. She was only 1/4th inch tall, 12 times smaller than Mortimer and 144 times smaller than usual.

"Oh. Sorry lil' one." Marie couldn't resist teasing...

Najiko fumed at being teased. "Don't tease me!" She shouted, sending her Bone needler of hundreds at Marie, hitting Mortimer as well in the process but it had little effect.

"Ow... Still smarts like damn hell."

"GAH" Mortimer briefly wondered if his suffering would end at the hands of these little girls... then realized he could breath again. Wriggling as best he could out of Marie's grip he shundo'd off her arm and onto the rim of the cauldron, reaching down to allow Marie onto his hand and then gently place her on his shoulder. Hopefully doing this would prevent her from accidentally firing more bone needles at him.

"Okay... now if we can all just calm down and NOT get squished to death we can start talking about how to get us back to normal okay?"

"Aw bu youre so cute that way..." Marie said then though about what she'd said, a moment of awkwards silence following. "On second thought I'll just take a few photos." And out came her camera...

"Ow... Ow! At least turn off the flash, jeez!" Najiko shouted, not too happy.

Mortimer was temporarily blinded by the massive flash of the camera on his tiny eyes.... almost, but not quite. Calling up his nocturna, he was able to shield the worst of the flash... except his nocturna was full sized. Given that it was a physical manifestation of his subconscious, apparently he wanted to get payback on Marie because the full sized Nocturna made to grab Marie and throw the child into the still bubbling pot of green gloop.

"Oh cra-" Marie was interrupted by splashing into the stuff... And hwne she emerged she was roughly 4.5 inches tall. Same scale as she normally would be relative to Mortimer... "... Why the hell did you do that?" She had to ask, not feeling so happy about this.

"For one thing... I didn't. That was my familiar, and he's a representation of my innermost desires thoughts and feelings, and when I call him up without thinking, he acts on MY instincts. And if it WAS my choice, I WOULDN'T have thrown you into the POT! WHY? BECAUSE THE ANTIDOTE IS OVER THERE!" He cried out pointing to the long other side of the room. Forty feet away was the start of a book case no less than twelve feet high with a foot of space between each shelf. It's upper three most shelves were covered in glass panes behind which sat particularly volitle magical potions. And at the very top of this, was a tiny vial which contained the antidote meant for curing most potion based afflictions... strangely enough it was not one of his better ideas to keep it so far away but still he hadn't needed it for so long that it just gradually migrated across the room and up the book case to make more room for other books potions and papers. As things stood the vial was a little larger than Mortimer, green and covered incobwebs and dust from long disuse. "And now we have to make our way across...the LAB!" Sweeping his arm across the grandoise expanse in their tiny forms. It would have been fairly small, the size of a large classroom maybe.. but in Mortimers lab and with their miniturized bodies they were in for one heck of a journey....

"... Oh shitbucket." Najiko stated, clearly stressed quite a bit. Not able to do much alse at the moment she just sat on Mortimer's shoulder with a rather nasty expression on her face. "Maybe I should've taught you how to Shundo, Marie. It's a useful skill, especially in situations like this."

"Oh quit it with another one of your 'maybe' stories Najiko, I'll do what I can now." Marie said. "It was your fault this happened anyway."

"But I told you going in the lab wasn't a good idea."

Marie sighed. "Let's stop debating and DO something about it." She said, carefully making her way down the side of the cauldron.

[There's a reason Marie and Najiko act the way they do. Look at their chinese zodiac signs! Marie's a Tiger, Najiko's a Rooster.]

Darren was watching T.V. in the family room not too far from the lab when he heard the pot crash.

Hmm? What was that? he said aloud. He then summoned up Albert.

Hey buddy, mind checking that out? he said pointing to the room.

At once sir Albert said making his way into the lab. Since it was just a simple task he was a whelping and just flew around the lab looking for the source of the noise.

Unfortunately It was as the pudding dragon spirit was making its way into the room that the trio had made it down the side of the cauldron. With it's sloppy mudlike texture running around searching for the source of the disturbance, their path was now marked with any number of muddy obstacles. Mortimer tried to call out but managed to get no sound through his vocal cords in the dragons register. Running as fast as his tiny little legs would carry him, Mortimer dashed through the room... only to be stopped by the now very large rats...

Marie sighed, making her force field bracers to fend off the creatures as best she could. Najiko on the other hand knew se was useless in this situations. "Damn it." She kept muttering to herself, she hated being so useless.

Albert flew around the lab for a big before it sighed.

Nothing to report sir he shouted to Darren. Oh mk then he replied back.

Albert sighed* It then started looking around the room with a curious gaze. I wonder what all this stuff is for he thought as he settle next to a few beakers.

Mortimer took up a combat stance to face the evil vermin, ready to risk life and limb in what was surley to be an epic battle to return to normal size before he realized something "Hey, I can fly!" With that Mortimer jumped into the air and used shundo to travel the rest of the ways to the top of the bookshelf, leaving Marie to dea with the four rats herself. They all lunged at her at once from different angles wide mouths gaping and sharp tiny little claws ready for tearing apart their smaller, weaker meal.

Mortimer had made it up to the top but was now sadly left with the dilema as to HOW he could get the bottle open... and then drink it.

Najiko smiled as she started using her bone control abilities to turn into that Half-dragon form Mortimer had taught her and then began to tear at the cork... Meanwhile, Marie was in quitea bit of trouble. "HELP!!!!!!!" She shouted.

Soon Najiko had burrowed her way through the cork, landing in the liquid and acidentally drinking some of it.

[Yup... Her growth is gonna shatter the bottle. Hehehe...]

Albert turned to see a buncha rats.

Hmm weird he said flying over to them. Nom! Nom! Nom! he went as he ate the rats whole and compressed his body when they were inside of him. Delicious he thought as he patted his stomach.

He then saw Najiko. Oh I left a white lil mouse for desert he thought as he moved to eat her.

Marie ran fast as she could, dodging gracefully averey swipe and bite sent at her... Meanwhile Najiko had started to grow, already having reached her normals size but still growing...

"Najiko! Quick get out of the lab as fast as possible! Get outside!" She had broken open the bottle and drunk more than she needed to. It was a potion reversing potion and so would do the reverse of the last potion the person had just drunk. However if you drank more than a drop of it....

Quickly scooping up as much as he could in his tiny hand (which was quite a bit given its cohesion) He slurped it down quickly, scooping up another drop with his other hand and jumping down from the book case. Running towards Marie and Albert he cried out to her to run towards him between the dragons legs. Hopefully he wouldn't notce and Marie could get the steadily shrinking drop in his hands... or rather his increaseingly large hands with the small drop inside of it. At the very least the dragon construct might have begun to hear mortimers now human register.

Albert turned to see a somewhat chibi sized Mortimer run past him.

Hmm? he thought surprised by the odd size of the individual. He then fully morphed to his full size of half an adult. It seems he's weakened he thought looking at him with a weird look.

He's a threat to my master he thought remembering the times he's been put into trouble by him. That ends today Albert growled as he proceeded to try to eat the small Mortimer.

Najiko got outside fast as she could, but still did quite a bit of damage to the hous in the process, demolishing doorways and the like. The growth was through quickly as it had started and there she sttod outside, over 40 feet.

Meanwhile Marie had sjumped into Mortimers hand and slurped up the drop in it, soon back to normal size. Soon she realised how much Mortimer was starting to tower over her though, and she was quite worried. would he and Najiko ever get back to normal?

Mortimer expanded a bit again, only to feel extremely constricted as his clothes failed to grow with him. They had shrunk in the initial vat but had not been covered in the reversal solution and so felt extremely constricting, starting to tear at the seams as he grew.

That was when the sharp pain hit his foot and the pudding dragon bit his leg. Crying out in pain he encanted an over the top ice spell seeking to numb his leg and turn the dragon into a fudge-cicle at the same time.

Meanwhile Darren in still watching T.V. in the living room heard the commotion of the house being torn apart behind him.

...I'm not going to get involved, I'm not going to get involved, I'm not going to get involved, he kept repeating to himself as he was playing an recent movie that was pretty popular.

Hey...keep it down back there!!! he yelled I'm TRYING to keep sane here...

Meanwhile, Albert now a fudge-chicle was for the most part unable to move at the ice spell. Darn... he thought as he was stuck biting Mortimer. Meh might as well roll with it he thought as he clamped down a bit harder on Mortimer.

Najiko frowned, she knew this was all her fault and she didn't deal with guilt well. She'd dealt with it in the past out of neccesity but this was... She;d never cared for someone as deeply as she did Mortimer and Marie, and s the thought that she'd done this to them was... unbearable. She made a bone dagger and stabbed her own hand with it, letting the blood drip onto the ground.

Marie meanwhile was quite preoccupied with the fact that she was naked, similarly her clothes having not been exposed to the potion and thus not changing size with her. In addition she noticed Mortimer was at least 60 feet tell now, and still growing.
