Najiko and Marie had worked hard on this treehouse for weeks, and were just now adding the finishing touches. Marie was fixing a solar panel array to the top which fed to and charged a large battery they'd scavenged. Hooked up to the battery were a boom box, a small lamp, and a small fan. Najiko was busy bringing up music CDs and other things and carving decorative patterns into the wood of the treehouse.

After several days of pleading Mortimer had consented to allowing Marie and Najiko their own rooms via a treehouse. Apparently living in the same large room together hadn't been conducive to the girls and so he had given them leave to construct their own place of residence. So far what they had looked fairly good... for something created by a twelve and five year old... he briefly wondered if he should tell them about things like insulation and heating and cooling... or plumbing... but then decided he would let them figure those things out on their own when their little home was exposed to the elements. The entire exercise was an assertion of independence and a leave from the "testosterone" of the cabin for a smaller quainter area... complete with a no-boys allowed sign. Honestly, it was rather cute.

As Marie finished installing the solar panel array she went back in through the hatch in the ceiling, walking over the the tiny window and looking out it as she started playing the ocarina that fateful day she found out about her love for Mortimer. It was a simple song, and Marie was getting much better at playing instruments. Soon as she got the electronic piano up Najiko tried to join in, but she was quite horrible at piano and only gave Mortimer and Marie a nasty headache.

"Najiko, stop! You're ruining my song!"

"I was only trying to help, Marie-senpai!"

"Now Marie, don't go stifling Najiko. She just needs to learn how to play" He was calling up to them from the bottom of the tree house given their "no boys allowed" rule.

"Something tells me it'll be me teaching her then..." Marie said, clearly not too happy about that. When it came to teaching others Marie was quiet lazy. She just never liked teaching apparently, and thus was a much better student than teacher. Nevertheless she went over and started teaching Najiko how to play the song on piano. It was still clear who was teacher and who was student but Najiko was starting to improve.

Eventually it got to the point where Marie was confident enough that Najiko could follow along on piano what she played on Ocarina. There were a few mistakes here and there (The occasional sharp instead of a flat and such) but other than those mistakes it was clear Najiko was learning fast. They did this for a few more minutes before Marie started to realise it was getting quite hot in here... So she turned on the fan. But it still wasn't quite enough...

Taurou had been gone, and just came back to see Mortimer yelling up to a tree. He walked over to see that he was actually yelling to whomever was in the tree house connected to the tree. Master, wouldn't it be easier to go up in the tree house instead of sitting down here yelling? He looked up at the tree house which was full of hustle and bustle noises.

"I would... but it's the girls house" pointing once again to the "no boys allowed" sign. "They wanted their privacy so I decided to give it to them... and I'm thinking about making an expansion to the cabin actually..."

Marie and Najiko exchanged a few whispers before shouting down to Mortimer and Taurou. Marie gave the message. "You two can come up here, if you still have some of that gender-swap potion of Mortimer-kuns!"

Taurou's ears twitched at the mention of that potion and he looked at Mortimer. "Mortimer-kuns"? What are they on about? And why do you still have some of that potion!? He grabbed Mortimer's collar and started to shake him. I. Thought. You. Destroyed. That. Shit! He gave a frustrated grumble still shaking Mortimer.

As Taurou was shaking him he managed to get out "Buuuut Iiiii Diiiiiid." As soon as Taurou stopped shaking him he continued in a hushed voice "I don't have any more of that potion. I only had enough sylphes wax for the one batch... but they don't know that"

After a short pause Najiko continued playing the piano, Marie telling her whenever she made a mistake. "Flat, not sharp."

When Taurou heard Mortimer tell him that there was no more, he cleared his throat and bowed his head slightly. Sorry 'bout that... He looked up at the girls in the tree house and wondered aloud, Then what do we do to tell them? They would try and kill us if there was no more, and I really don't want to kill a child right now... He looked at Mortimer, any ideas master?

"Yes, as a matter of fact I do." Withdrawing a long purple wig from nowhere and applying a tube of lipstick, Mortimer suddenly spun around once, his shadow reforming into a long black ballroom gown. "We go up their in drag" he smiled, his voice oddly high-pitched, feminine and breathy... wind magic in the larynx... very good for relaxing the vocal cords and making your voice sound very different ;D

Taurou shook his head. Nooooo Way. Not dressing in drag. Nuh uh! He crossed his arms. I'm not doing that. I will wait down here. He rested his back against the tree and sat down, resting against the tree. Go have fun up there, Mistress. He laughed.

Najiko continued to play the electric piano and Marie her ocarina, not at all listening to the conversation below. They simply waited until Mortimer entered, Najiko not that suspicious. But Marie could sense something was quite wrong... She didn't know what but she was starting to get suspicious. And it showed in the way she played her ocarina, the notes becoming longer and more wavering than they should have.

There was silence in the tree house for a time, save for the musical stylings of Najiko and Marie, until Mortimer got bored and chirped the suggestion, "Sooooooo.... who want s to play truth or dare?"

Najiko instantly turned the electric piano off, and Marie let her Ocarina hang by it's neck strap as a necklace. "Youngest goes first!" Shouted Marie, forgetting how penetrating a voice she really had. "Oops."

"Dare!"

"I dare you to..." Marie looked out the window then whispered to Mortimer and Najiko "Hit Taurou in the center of his bum cheecks with two of thos bone needles of yours."

And Najiko shot her characteristic bone needles at the kitty-boy quietly and quickly as she could out the window.

The bone needles would have struck their mark, IF he wasn't sitting down... The bones actually just struck the tree. What the hell!? He looked up. Najiko! What're you doing!? Was there any point to that!?

"That's a failed dare Najiko!" exclaiming with as much lackluster vigor as he could muster. "Now you have to face the penalty... tickle torture"

As dast as he could move Mortimer got behind Najiko and attempted to tickle her for all her worth, her knees her armpits,her tummy. Somehwhere along the line he HAD to have tickled her and discovered a weak point.

Najiko's weak point as it turned out was her nose, but that also made her sneeze. "Hahahahahaha.... ACHOOO!!!!!!!!!"

Marie laughed... "Ok, ok... I think that's enough Mortimer. Don't want her to sneeze too much... So... I guess I'll go next. I go with truth!"

"Alright then Marie... what is... your most embaressing moment in your life?"

"In hindsight, being with Taurou-chan at the park that one day... Just don't ask." Marie stated, blushing as she remembered seeing Taurou's panties and Bra...

"Now is it truth or dare Mortimer-sensei?" Najiko asked, if he said Dare she had quite a doozy in mind.

"Heehee, Dare me honey" he said with a wink and a smile. He still needed to keep up the illusion he was a girl after all.

"Whistle the Pokemon theme all the way through without messing up..." Najiko laughed, and Marie started playing the tune on her Ocarina...
