The two mages soon arrived at the village, panic between the villagers ensued.

“They sent children…?” One whispers to another.

“I can’t believe it… Did the magic school fail us?” Another murmur could be heard.

“…We’re going to die…” Another one mumbles sadly.

Will look’s at his partner. “Don’t worry them, Ashraeh.” William says to her, brushing their comments off. Meeting up with the mayor of the village, he peers at us disappointingly.

“Go home you brats.” He orders.

“Hey! Master and this girl came here to help you! You should be grateful!” Rickardo retorts.

“I’ve already hired someone else,” He smirks.

"Even if you hired others, it would be a good idea to accept help where it's offered." Ashraeh stated.

"Hmpf. You'd only get in the way. Get out."

"Have you even seen the other people you're hiring? What if they're younger than us!?" Will asks him angrily.

"Right, right." Rickardo agrees. "These two were specifically chosen because of their high grades!"

"Good grades?" Another villager laughs.

"Pfft, we asked them to send us a teacher! Not some useless children!" Another says. Will looked at the sky, it had a scarlet red tint to it, however didn't stretch out for very long. Inspecting the tower (which the entrance to it was rather close) it wasn't that high, what stopped the villagers from doing it themselves?

"We would have done it ourselves. And saved the money, but that damn sorcerer keeps altering reality. He's an expert." one villager said.

"Um, thank you for telling us." Ashraeh replied.

"It doesn't matter what you do. You'll just end up a scorch mark on the ground. Bastard lights up the place whenever someone gets close."

"Heh, then why don't you let us have a try?" Will smirks, adjusting his hat. "You'd never know whether we can or can't do it. You old guys have no faith."

"Plus I'm with them! If anything bad happens, you know~!" Rickardo laughs giving Will a nudge on his ear.

"Ugh, you bugs are so pathetic. Renne! Get over here!" The mayor shouted.

"Yes, father?" A girl, about 25 with long white hair in a single braid down to her thighs, and lightly armored, with only a feather helmet, and limb guards, stepped forward.

"Go with these minuscule fools to that tower. If you're in a pinch, leave 'em there. They know what they've gotten into."

"Oh come on, we'll be fine. Though we'll accept the help we can get." William sighs, "I'll definitely protect Ashraeh."

As the group makes their way to the tower, "Rickardo." Will sighs.

"Right, right." Rickardo replies scanning for any traps around the area.

As the mages left for the tower, Rennet struck up a conversation. "I'm sorry for my father's behavior."

"It's no problem. I'm used to being treated worse than that." Ashraeh said.

William looked at Rennet. "May I ask you, how long has the tower been here? And why's everyone so afraid of it? We didn't get much information from the principal when he sent us." Will explains.

"It recently appeared around a few days ago. And it's not the tower the people are afraid of. It's the person who made it. He is extremely mentally unstable and has a unnatural lust for me. It's rather sickening." Rennet replied.

"Why are they afraid?" Ashraeh questioned.

"Extreme insanity, and near limitless power makes a dangerous mix."

"He craves for you?" Rickardo inquires with a smug look, summoning up a pactio circle. "Maybe we could grab his attention with this?" Rickardo laughs.

"...What?! No!" William bluntly denies, though if he does crave for her, it would grab his attention. The light shined brighter.

"Just pretend, just pretend. Leave the rest to me." Rickardo states, looking around the area to see if there were any cameras and such.

"It would be a waste to look for surveillance cameras. The enemy holds a spell that allows him to view anything he desires." Rennet says. "Besides, drawing him out here, is dangerous. All the people would be killed." Rennet states as she walks to the store for supplies.

"Rennet's right, Rickardo cancel it." William orders.

"Yeah, yeah..." Rickardo sadly states and snaps his fingers (well, paws), making it explode and Rennet's mistake pactio card floats down. Rickardo quickly grabs it and makes a copy for Rennet, not that she'd want it.

"So how do you recommend we enter this tower?" William inquires.

"Risart, that's the enemy, likes a challenge, so he'll most likely just let us walk in, but it won't be easy to get to the top." Rennet states.

"He'll just let us in, eh? Awesome." He smiles as he brashly dashes into the castle, "We've got to save the villagers fast! We don't have unlimited time!" He shouts over to Ashraeh and Rennet.

“Master, you’re so brash!!” Rickardo shouts. William stopped right in his tracks, three skeletons of gargantuan size just stared them down, they were quite similar to the ones in the illusionary world, however these seemed much stronger…

A soft murmur sounded from the unmoving skulls. As the party drew close, their eyes blazed yellow, and they began to animate!

The first clutched it's giant sword and slashed at Rennet. With her graceful skills, she dodged, but was struck but the butt of a lance from the second skeleton. "Augh!" She retaliated with all her might, and struck a portion of the left arm off.

William delivers an uppercut to one of the skeletons jaw, as another delivers a sword slash at Will's thigh. They were obviously skillful. The third skeleton cried out, holding a warhammer firmly. It strikes downward, plummeting its hammer only to miss. The floor ground cracks largly as the warhammer makes contact.

Rickardo quickly lights his hands with thunder and sends a miniature lightning bolt flying into the monsters forehead. "Go Master!" He shouts over as William dashes and with amazing skill he avoids another barrage of swings by the skeleton and quickly rushes a chant. "Go Men A Sai, Molten magma attero ferrum parietis pro nos!" He shouts as his arm is encased with magma, slamming his fist it obliterated one of the skulls. Rennet too quickly finished her work with one of these undead monsters, leaving one more with Ashraeh.

"Great work." Rennet states, rather emotionless.

"You too," Will smiles back.

Ashraeh did not hesitate is she said her spell. "Aequora , addo pacis...Quinquaginta
spiritus aquarius coentes sagittet inimicum!" Fifty water discs burst from the palm of Ashraeh's hand, shredding the final skeleton to ribbons. It's skull fell to the ground with a sharp thud, and its eyes ceased to glow, and it ceased to rattle.

"What?! How did that happen?!" Ashraeh demanded. "It's not possible!" Her power seemed to have momentarily exceed her limit. Her breath drew longer, she had trouble moving.

"We have no time to waste." Rennet hurries ahead into the tower. The darkness is astounding, and frightening. Suddenly, she gestures for Ashraeh and William to stop.

"Shh."

"What's goin' on-" Rickardo questions, rather loudly. His voice echoes throughout he room, and suddenly, thousands of beady, red eyes appear.

"Vampire bats!" Rennet exclaims. Many rush down to attack, while others cast powerful spells.

"Someone should take down the one's casting first! It'll be dangerous if they unleash any spells!" Rickardo quickly advices, shooting a miniature fireball at one of the Vampire Bats near the back.

"Alright," William replies to Rickardo, kicking a Vampire Bat away with amazing force. A bat lunges, however was short in time as William using his agility, maneuvered around them, followed by quick chanting. “Go A, Ardescat spheres, tentatio meus hostilis!” He chants, sending three fireballs flying in three different directions.

Ashraeh dispatches more with her water discs. The stricken bats fall in two, as the discs slice through their bodies. The three warriors fought valiantly, but there were too many. As they backed into each other, they thought of how to escape, but could not find an answer.

"Burst Arrow!" just then, a single, white arrow flew to the center of the bats, exploding in a bright white flash.

"Silmery?! What are you doing here?" Rennet demands. A beam shoots through the smoke, to pierce even more bats.

“Who’s that…?” William mutters, as the smoke slowly begins to clear, revealing a beautiful, sandy blonde-haired girl.

“Another one!~” Rickardo cheers, wanting to raise his ermine cash by even more.

“No… I don’t even know her…” William replies with irritation.

“Anyway, begin the counterattack!” Rickardo quickly orders as the Vampire Bats get filled with lust for blood, as they even eat their own allies corpses!
“Go Men A Sai, Incendia ut exuro totus ut cinis cineris , caput capitis north quod attero totus in vestri via , numerus ruina! Streaming Flames!!” William chants as a blazing stream of flames are sent flying around the room, taking down numerous Vampire Bats.

Silmery struck down more bats, piercing their bodies in unison. A older woman with long black hair leaped high into the air, using her unsual halberd to fell the demonic bats.

"These demons shall lament their sins in hell!"

Showers of blood fell from the sky and covered the multitudes of bat corpses.

Before long, all the bats had been dispatched. Numerous corpses of the bats laid across the room. "Few..." William mumbles to himself before turning to the newcomer. "Thank you for saving us, who might you be?" He asks her.

"Hm... I feel a bad presence still though," Rickardo mutters aloud, looking around the area.

"My name is Silmery." The blonde girl said.

"Rista." The black haired girl said. She didn't seem very social.
