Eva was out, alone. Today she felt that it was time to hone her skills further in the art of stealth. Which meant she had to get closer than she would normally... which really she didn't mind if it helped her in any way. The sniper was walking carefully around somewhere she shouldn't really be. It was a mercenary outpost, that had various signs that said 'Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again'. Normally she would stay well clear of a place like this, but today was a very special case.

She had climbed through a hole in the fence around the back, so far so good. She had carefully scouted for guards before she had gotten here, there was a total of twelve, and it wasn't that big of an outpost. It consisted of one main building with elevated platforms on each of the corners. She had snuck in through dense foliage, the rustling didn't seem to cause a disturbance, maybe a glance from one of the guards. She drew her knife as she moved closer to one of the entrances, she had to play it quiet..

Inside the main building was a corridor and rooms in pairs opposite each other. She hadn't figured out how many guards had been inside, only outside. Which could cause a problem. Eva closed a door with a tiny click... damn, she froze, expecting a shout of 'INTRUDER!' but it didn't happen, she was on edge... not good. It wasn't going to help if she was jumping at shadows, so she took a few deep breaths and continued on wards. She noticed her footsteps, they were louder than she wanted. She took the next step very slowly, with great results. As she walked, albeit quite carefully, she noticed that she made no noise. Progressively she began to make her way to one of the rooms, the door was ajar so no need to bother with fiddly handles. She peeked through, and noticed it was empty, excellent.. She pushed the door open, expecting some sort of annoying creak, but nothing. It seemed she had begun to do more than simply move silently. She moved into the centre of the room, nothing of interest... Oh well, she turned and walked back to the door, she had managed to retain her silence even with her speed.

Though she didn't want to get too cocky, she had only just begun, and she didn't want to make a stupid mistake and get shot by these guys, because that sign on the fence looked pretty serious to her (It was riddled with bullet holes). She made her way out of the room again, sneaking her way through into the corridor, which was still empty. She guessed that everyone was outside... She stopped and listened to the surrounding noises, to see what she could find.

She didn't have to wait long before she overheard a conversation and something else she couldn't quite make out... 'Time to put this to the test...' Being a little more daring in her abilities now, she opened the door behind which the sound originated, as quietly as before, it just so happened neither of the people inside were looking at the door, which was lucky in a way. And she pushed it open enough for her to sneak inside, moving silently around behind the two, slacking off watching tv and talking quite loudly. They only helped her hide herself even more, as she snuck over to the window and pushed it open, not even hearing a thing as she quickly climbed out through it. "... Man, did it just get cold in here? Why the hell is that window open?" By the time either of them had decided to have a look for her, she was already gone. She had snuck out through the same hole in the fence she had before.

When she was quite far away, a safe distance (No less than a few hundred meters) she figured that she still had a bit to do with this skill, she was just lucky that time.
