Larita nods listening to Mortimer's words. She gulps understanding the direness of the situation. "I-I'll do my best..." She agrees with the magician.

"Good", he said slowly with great deliberance and solemnity.

Concentrating and expanding his magic as far as he can, he attempts to shape shadows which he can't see, forcing the rocks out of the... or at least that is what he thought he was doing. When he was done, he created a small gap in the egg at ground level, forming a miniature tunnel of shadow stuff that excited into the larger real cave.

The tunnel had taken him a good five minutes to craft, what's more, he could not actually see what he was doing, and he had to project his magic across a distance, something he had never done with this technique before, still he continued his small scale excavation and support structure until he was satisfied that it was large enough to let the two girls through and not collapse immediately.

"GO!" he barked urgently.

Kitty stood up slowly, the blood at her wound was starting to coagulate. "L-let's go." she huffed.

"R-right," Larita says, grabbing Kitty and using her Limes Aeriales spell forming the wind currents pushing them to the exit. Larita done the spell without an incantation, meaning it's extremely weak and not nearly the strength of what it would be, but a simple draft increasing their walking speed by the slightest may save them.

She wouldn't be a burden anymore, she makes her way to the exit.

Kitty stumbled after Larita, "W-what about Mortimer?" she asked.

Mortimer smiles slightly as his teammates make it out of the shadow... as his will gives out and the egg collapses in on itself, Mortimer is buried under a literal ton of rubble.

Meanwhile on the outside the last four bandits have approached and stand over the two girls with wicked looks in their eyes. However they are over confidant and only one of the men has a wand out. The four men advance on thegirls forming a semicircle.

OOC; How will our heroines escape!

"I know," She smiles "Unlike you, he's not injured... Lalala Flowing Symbols!" She chants, playing on her flute as fast as possible as flowing symbols slam into Mortimer, rejuvenating his strength slightly. The spell was aimed to rejuvenate your strength and recuperate instead of actually heal wounds, making it a good spell in Mortimer's situation.

As the notes fly to aid Mortimer, the part collapses burying him. Larita's eyes burst open with shock and fear... "M-Mortimer...!!" She screams attracting the bandits up top. She saw the bandits approaching, "K-Kitty, please help Mortimer... I know you're injured, but I won't let those bandits stop us...!" She nods determined, her eyes getting teary.

Mortimer remains motionless under the rocks, he is barely three feet from the exit yet he remains cut off from his team.

Meanwhile, the four men advance closer, one of them grabs Larita by the arm yanking her into a standing position. "Hey baby, what say you we go and have some fun tonight"? The mans breath smells rotten, like the breath of someone who drinks too much alcohol and too little dental hygiene.

One of the other men moves in to grab Kitty while a third tries to take Laritas flute away from here. The forth one hangs back one raised ready to strike them should either try anything funny.

"Kittal-latic mutare du mihi sine lupus animus." Slowly Kitty began to transform, before long a black wolf stood in her place. The wound in her abdomen/stomach had disappeared, I didn't know that'd happen. Kitty turned and growled, and the men started to back up.

"Woah there Wolfie. You don't want the lady to get hurt do you?" he chuckled. Kitty had had about enough with these men, what what could she do?

'W-what do I do...?' Larita trembles as she thinks of something to do. A bandit had grabbed her staff away leaving her with the other flute, Tibia Melodia. She said she'd handle it but she was pretty unsure right now. As the man breathes in her face, Larita gave it a whiff and almost ended up having a coughing hazard with the foul stench of that mans mouth.

She looked back, Kitty began transforming into a wolf. "Y-you can do that...?" She asks confused, as the man begins using Larita as a threat to Kitty. Larita gives a glare at the man, "I don't think so." She says, kicking him in his precious jewels with Larita's high-heeled boots, it'd at least force someone to cringe.

(Sorry for being late...)

"This must be it." Rita stares down at the four bandits abusing the poor girls of the Magic Research Society. Using her atrociously broken speed, she disappears from her spot and reappears holding a katana to the man ready to hit the girls if they try something. "I don't think so..." She smiles, cutting his arm clean off.

"Are you two alright? Boy have you two gotten weak! What happened to all that training? Don't tell me you guys are sad after Umi left..." Rita tries to encourage the two in a rather provoking way. Rita looked completely different, she had beautiful flowing pink hair now not tied up and she now wears a beautiful kimono that flows in the wind.

Kitty gave a grunt and turned towards the rubble; Mortimer was still buried under there.

Unfortunately for this particular bandit, Larita knew a mans most vulnerable weakpoint and was completely unprepared for when the seemingly helpless damsel turned out to be a fighter. That and the intense pain which radiated from his nether regions. The man collapsed to the ground grabbing his crotch in agony. He would be out of commision for a short while.


Paying little heed to the pink haired ninja (or perhaps not actually caring that she was there) the remaining bandits contuned their actions.

However the man now holding Laritas staff tries to use it against her, bringing the staff down in a wide archaiming squarely for her head.

The man who had previously attempted to grab Kitty was now reaching for his wand, he was the most startled by Kitty's transformation and his hands shook as he tried to draw it.


Beneath the rubble Mortimer has time to think about what has transpired... and how this entire situation could have been much easier.... Then he is interupted by the boulder grinding into his foot as his leg involuntarily spazms. Well %*@! he thinks to himself, alive but badly hurt and close to death.

Kitty pawed at the rubble, trying to get to Mortimer not noticing the magic arrows headed for her.

"Hmm, ignored..." Rita mutters with a small sob. However, this didn't stop her usual arrogant jerkish personality as she aims her kunai knife and throws it at the one wielding a wand against Kitty.

Kitty turned around to looked at Rita then back at the rubble. Shouldn't she know by now that someone was buried under here?!

"Ah, it's Rita! From the school!" Larita cheers happily as a bandit aims to hit Larita with her own staff. "Eek!" She jumps to the side, getting winded in the stomach from the staff. "I'll leave the fighting to you...!" She shouts over to Rita, helping Kitty remove the rubble. They have to be fast, or Mortimer's mortality rate may drop dramatically.

Kitty slashed at the rubble, she wondered if they would get Mortimer out alive.

The kunai strikes true hitting the bandit drawing his wand in the back of the neck. Ritia stillholds the blade to the wand wielding bandits neck though if left to his own devices he may escape.

The bandit initially kicked by Larita is starting to recover though he can barely stand. He will also soon recover should he be left alone

Refusing to be denied his enemy the man with Laritas staff charges after her, swinging the implement in wild yet precise strokes. This one was clearly a trained fighter.

Mortimer remained burried under the rubble, half-way between life and death, yet in this tenuous state, his magical senses are heightened and he detects further in the cave someone, no , something else, waiting to strike.

OOC: Are we going to get out of this alive?!

OOC; Yes but the idea is that without a healer it is going to be much harder... also roleplaying more+better= greater points.

OOC: I guess...

"Seems the bandits are tougher than they look," Rita nods, "But, I'll show them the power of a female!" She grabs out her katana and a few ninja stars, aiming to throw the ninja stars at the one who Larita had rendered incapable to fight for a few minutes and charging at the man with Larita's staff with her katana in hand.

Fighting was Rita's specialty, it's what she's 'good' at. That's at least, what Loheart, her trainer, her senpai had said. She believed and clung onto those words, she wouldn't lose here.

A hand appeared in front of Kitty, Mortimer! This made her dig harder, she was running out of strength though, perhaps transforming in her injured state was a bad idea after all.

(I guess this just proves how hard things would be without Umi and Yoko, who are healer and fighter respectively.)

Larita had decided to waste away her magic saving Mortimer, pushing herself to the limit. "Lalalalala, Triginta Spiritus Aeriales, Vinculum Facti Inimicum Captent, Sagitta Magica, Aer Capturae!" Larita sends thirty arrows of wind created from her sagitta magic to grab the rubble and toss it out of the way, trying to dig up Mortimer. In no time, there was clear results however, this created a burden in Larita, causing her to collapse onto her knees as she pushes herself more. She looked behind her, the man with her staff continued to fight charge after her.

She tried to jump out of the way, but it was too late, that was until Rita saved her just in time. She sighed a sigh of relief as she continues to help Mortimer.
