Yoko shundo'd away from his opponent to push both of the newbie mages through the portal into the next level. As he did the other Yoko came in and Raimeiken'd him through the temple.

"Mortimer! you too! I have to fight him on my own, he's my shadow..."

Yoko hoped he would not have to push Al through the portal too, but he needed him to keep going, otherwise they would not save Umi from his illusion prison.

Mortimer gritted his teeth. Yoko believed himself equal to his opponent but somehow Mortimer didn't think that that was the case. Mortimer summoned five shadow soldiers, sending three of them to get the remainder of the people out of the van and through the portal. The other two he sent towards the real Yoko. "You've got two meat shields with them around, use them well."

Mortimer shundo'd away and straight into the portal. So long as Yoko kept his shadow busy, and the others didn't resist his minions, then they should have all entered the second level.

Nhieling was holding his frustration, thinking "what an arrogant one, with just this level of power, if i had just a fragment of my old power you would be dead by now...." And then just make a mental note to avenge himself later.

[Shouldn't the portal be far away?]

Daisuke grinned as they continued "Don't worry ,we aren't the real one besides letting us to go to the next level without you two is more dangerous after all .More the merrier" They smile and sent some wave of electricty around the area without being noticed .It isn't hard to keep track of which was the real one since their eyes were set onto them already .

Yoko, now backed up by two of Al's shadow soldiers, was able gain his second wind and begin the fight once again. Rather than try to match his opponent with Ki, he was going to focus on redirecting his opponents attacks. He lost his sword somewhere in the rumble of the destroyed temple, so he focused purely on his martial arts skills.

"Shinmeiryuu does not choose it's weapon"

The demon Yoko made quick work of Al's two shadow soldiers, and closed the distance between both of them with a Shundo

Nhieling, coming to back Yoyo, cast his cripple curse on his double

If you're worth at least half of your arrogance, you can crush him now, he'll be weaker than you, concidering that hsi normal state is your equal...

William stared at the battle from afar, he himself looking for the portal instead of actually helping with the fight. He for one, found it rude and inconsiderate to aid someone else’s battle unless they really need it. “Ah, I found it! The way to the second level,” William grins nonchalantly, pointing his way and leading them into the second level, the mysteries awaiting...

(I’ll let someone else plan the design of the second level...)

Mortimer emerged from the portal into... the principals office?! Moving towards the windows Mortimer looked out and confirmed it. Those that had come through the portal had arrived in a recreation of Everlast Magic school in all its former glory.

The shadow mage had heard that Umi had set a part of his mind aside so that people could learn new spells and train without going anywhere. This level was designed as a training ground and apparently Umi still associated the Everlast Campus with the attainment of exprience... even if he had been the one to destroy it.

"I don't suppose anyone knows a spot on everlast which Umi found sacred at all?" He said turning to the people who had managed to make it through to the next level.

Daisuke was long there since he went ahead earlier but he just scanned the surrounding to make sure the portal is in a safe condition since he wouldn't want it to break down . . . As soon as they've arrived ,he could finally be in releived but not fully just yet as now ,they are in the second level and most probally the dangers they will soon face may be more high at risk .Hearing what Mortimer had to say he understood but can't help since he doesn't know about the 'spot' "Nope ,not me" He just gave his reply and that was all while waiting for the group to make a move.

Yoko fended off his demonic opposite, mostly by running away, he tried to dodge and redirect every move his opponent made, but to no avail, his demon side was stronger than him in every way, and he was powerless to stop it, so he constantly shundo'd away, forcing the demon into constant running, not allowing him to connect a blow.

"He charges up Ki to attack, so when he does, he cant shundo, you really are my double arent yo-"

Before he could finish his sentence, the demonic Yoko struck, using shundo to get close to him, he tore a huge gash in him with a Ki-enhanced slash, cleaving off Yoko's arm before quickly stabbing him through the stomach with the sword.
Somehow this Yoko was able to surpass the original, completely over coming his idiosyncracies. Yoko succumbed to his injuries and, though he should have died from those wounds, was unable to die, or even pass out, though the pain was still there. This was a common trait in the Phantasmagoria, but the fact Yoko's shadow was able to surpass him was not.

Yoko learned a lot about illusions from Umi, given how much his partner studied them, and he knew that the strongest illusions use the recipients experiences to erect the spell, otherwise the illusion loses meaning, however, Yoko had never fought a demon Yoko before, nor had he any recollection of one, so how could it be stronger than him without him even knowing how strong it would be? perhaps it was from Umi's memory? when did he fight a shadow Yoko?

Passing through the portal, Nhieling saw Everlast. Oh, so it look like this when the stone are assembled together? Even through I use a room that isn't damaged into the ruin, I never saw it. A nice view

Nhieling rejoined Mortimer at the window

Hmm the view is sure nice, be seeing the last level we have been through, wouldn't it be more important to focus of what seem to be... the students and the teacher here?
In the garden, there were student practicing there spell against dummies.
Suddenly, one of the dummies got hit by a lighting spell and burst
Outch, seemed to hurt, I'll let you go first if you don't minded said Nhieling, with a sarcastic smile

"Okay... this area is meant for training, so the people here shouldn't attack you... just make you do squat thrusts until you pass out then make you train some more. Just don't get caught by them and you should be fine.

Find a buddy to pair up with and search the school for something that looks like a portal. It could be in any room or it could even be out in the middle of nowhere . Just search high and low for it and then report back here in an hour okay? I'll wait here for Yoko... sound good to everyone?"

Umi's voiced boomed throughout the training world, as an unconscious message, his voice was programmed to activate whenever new people arrived

"Welcome Intruders!, If you escape from the detention level, then you must have escaped, illusions activate."

The phantasmagoria activated, creating walls and prison cells around them as they entered.

(This is a problem solver, how do you get out of my illusions?)

Okay, okay... you're stuck inside the head of a deranged man who has more power than he knows what to do with. Now what are the key aspects of Umis phantasmagoria.... Made to be as real as possible and reflect Umi's powers amped up and over the top... I could turn into bats and fly out, that would mean that this cage was based on reality... but if this cage is insead based on Umi's faith in his barriers then I could be stuck in here.... nothing ventured nothing gained.

With that Mortimer made his first attempt to leave the cage... turning into a swarm of bats and getting out through the bars... he hoped that would work but if not he would need to try a different tactic. For all he knew the space between the bars would be like lead... still he had to try and this was the first thing he came up with... so why not go for it?

"Wait, what about that giant wall that was destroyed from a previous war? I mean, him, Larita, Eri, Yoko, Rita and all that always went to train back in the day, maybe there's something significant their?" William raises the idea, refusing to partner up with anyone other than Jessica. It's pretty much the reason, he doesn't trust anyone here other than Jess. It's not that he has trust issues, but he's still angry about the destruction of the school.

Even so, he did say he'd become a magister magi, and as requested, he'll help Umi simply because he was asked to.

"WRONG!"

Umi's voice boomed, and sending a quick and sharp slap to the back, which Umi hated when done to him.

Daisuke isnt really sure what is going but he just wonders what might be going on and probally how to solve the problem... Though he ended up blank in thoughts since he isn't able to figure out how to solve it he thought of using force but decides not to first by letting the others to solve the question first since it seems to be a best choice to do first...

"Arggh! Umi's so annoying, why can't he be a normal person?" William grunts angrily, as he goes off on his own. He was thinking deeply on where to search next. He never had an idea and he wasn't sure on Umi's actions as he usually went on silly adventures with the other people in the society he made.

Well, Mortimers first attempt to get out hadn't worked. But that voice was still there. So that meant that Umi had a chance to setup this trap to detain people. The key word here was DETAIN. Umi hadn't set up a turret of machine guns or dragons or something which could kill them. Doing that would send them right back to the detention level which would be suiting, if they WERE escapees.

Instead he had chosen something which would keep the "prisoners" locked away so that Umi... the REAL Umi, could OBSERVE them. Odds are he had planned that some of his "friends" would make their way through the first level to get here. Which meant that Umi must have designed some sortof fail-safe so he could let these "friends" out of their cages and begin training.

The question then became, what would Umi do in order to get rid of cages from his own mind...

(Keep trying. If you cant, once Yoko finishes his fight, he'll show you the way out...)

Yoko got back up, his body hurt everywhere, but he picked up his sword, for what he thought was maybe the 10th or 12th time after "dying" again and again.
He looked back at the Demon Yoko, it had evolved once again, its body grew much larger, blood red lines went through his body like tattoos and his eyes lost all detail. He was much more Demon than human, yet he did not discard his weapon, it conjured up another electrical current and charged at Yoko with his Raimeiken. Yoko charged forward too, knowing that running would not be an option anymore, for the first time in a while, the dark side of Shinmei-ryu took him, a sign he was fighting a person much stronger than him for his life.

"Raimeiken!"

Once again, he could not match the demon, and was sent flying backwards again, this time it grew stronger again, it's mass growing at least double it's size. He had no other choice but to pick himself back up and charge headlong at the monster

Nhieling suddently got jailed. After a few second of surprise, he looked around :

And %*@!... Back to the Ostia jailed for dangerous criminal.... I haven't done anything bad this time through...

Casting a look if the hallway, Nhieling couldn't see anything at all. I don't feel the anti-magic protection, its probably impossible since we're currently into a dream. The illusions couldn't create an anti-magic field that would prevent herself from working.

Then with a grin he add : Then this jailed is nothing more than a loosy wall...
Nhieling suddenly made his alchemy set pop out of nowhere. Hehe, sorry Umi, I don't know ou but dreams aren't the suitest place to keep someone emprisonnated when they know the dream world better than everyone.
Then, after placing the explosive charge, NHieling body got back into his doll, and the explosion occur, sending Nhieling body (currently hidded into the doll) to fly through the dream world)

From the height, Nhieling could see the surrounding, sawing the other that seemed stuck on place.
This area seem to be strictly delimited to the school, they're is nothing more around it, so the portal to the next level must be here... Though Nhieling just before craching into a tree, and then landing into the training field, with all the dream students around.

"Sorry but no, two slaps this time!"

Letting Nhieling his the wall of the jail, he sent two slaps straight to the back of each member currently locked in the jail

Daisuke stared at everyone who was effected by the illusion acting really odd. The first thing that came into mind "Annoying.." He placed his palm onto one of their head and data particles of the surrounding came into his hand and then goes through the head flowing into the mind system giving them the hold of reality and kicking them out of the illusion. If that didn't work, Daisuke is so going to get a hammer on the hand and slam it into their heads.. [So you better GET BACK TO REALITY so we can continue with the RP ]

"GOOD JOB! The portal is too your left, have fun!"

A new portal opened up exactly 5 feet to the left of the group, the jail illusions had disappeared, since they did their job.

"The next level is dangerous, death is a reality, and if you die, you get left here forever..."

After crossing the training field, getting ignored by the student strangely enough, Nhieling caught back the others.
Eh??? ALready out? I did it for nothing? I've heard what seem to be Umi voice, is someone has an hint about what's happening here? Instead of getting stucked here, it seem more like we are the one trapped...
