Though Al is a magical duelist, he doesn't seem like the type to be a hard-boiled up close fighter, even though he has a lot of endurance. Maybe it's his looks? Or the way I see him fight? I dunno. But yeah, he is technically an up-close fighter. Getting past him isn't that hard though. :P
